      It Advance Auto sales on **************************************** *******. I bought a car from them 20 minutes after getting it i yook it right back to the lot it was back firing and the check engine light came on. They told me that light came on cause of the back fire but it did that because i filled the tank up with gas and it been sitting. It wasnt the car i wanted but uer sister took off in the car i was looking to gwt *** they said the car they showed me had less miles and was better i told them bucks was better cars and if i had any trouble it was coming back. That night the air conditioner went out and the car just shut off i figured they had to do it cause they had a box on the car it started back up wirhin two hours and cut back off i called and lwft a message telling them that and that i be bringing it back Monday morning as i had arranged wirh them rhat day i really feel like they were tracking me. That next morning it looks like some one took a hammer to the front end and thats were the air system sits. Itook the liscen plates off papaer work out told them to get it and return my money some one at the hotel said some white person did it. I end up going away for. Month called them 10/17/2024 asked them were the vehicle was they told me i sold it had it towed to a junk yard the people they sold it to never meet me have any identification of meeting me or anything *** said some one brought it to them i have proof i was away and never did that when i told the dealer ship that and that i new the people were it was parked they hung up on me

      On August 8th, 2024 ****** L ******* came in to purchase a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. Customer Signed all paperwork explaining car was AS-IS. She did complain the ** stopped working, the sales agent did speak with her and advised her to bring the car back up and we would take a look at it, which she did not. The same day the customer was already out of state with the said vehicle. We never heard from her again, some gentlemen called us on 8/19/2024 called stating someone was trying to sell the vehicle in ******, ********* recycling is the company. The vehicle was wrecked, so more damage than a hammer could cause, I will include pictures with my reply along with contract and all AS-IS paperwork. We took a loss on the vehicle, we reached out to customer with no reply since she purchased. The car was junked in ****** TX by said company mentioned above. Customer tried to sell the vehicle for $350 with no title the company seen our logo and contacted us. She never tried to reach out or settle her contract with us.

      I was not able to contact them until October 17, 2024 which I did at that time to ask did they have the vehicle since they said it was a tracker on it and that they had family in ****** ***** which we I sister who was there and family leave I took all the paperwork out the vehicle and the paper plates and told them the vehicle keep cutting off on me and I felt they were cutting the car off since I told them when I bought it back on Monday I wanted my money back I sat at a gas station for 4 hours and after they are about to close the vehicle started back up and that morning is when I found it damaged and I told them I felt they had some to do with it cause people said someone did it when I talk to them on the 16th they said I sold the car told them no way I was in jail for a month so I can prove it was not me they said I called the company to pick it up and sell it after talking to the company they said they dont even pick cars up someone brought it in to them with the title saying they was the owner and wanted to sell it told them it was to far of a distance to take it back and they could write it off the last was suppose to email me documents of her statement I been without a phone for a couple days  so I m just checking emails for her letter so everything they saying is a lie and were it wa parked they said some one came and jump stated it and left the security there was supposed cause he tried to help me jump start it cause the key was stuck in the ignition and we couldnt get it to start he left me the jumper cables to keep trying so it show they keep turning the car off and they are another witness

      I received a notice but no information was provided I spoke with them back on the 17th and they going to tell me I sold the vehicle which was stated sold September 18 and I was incusarated at the time and they people said they don't pick vehicles up and they turned the car off were I could not start it and payment was not due and I never picked up license plate so they do have to return the 800 sales tax I paid for the *** BRANCH SINCE I NEVER REGISTERED

      I purchased a vehicle from auto sales on July 10 & on July 20th 11 days later, the car started jerking,misfiring,cutting off. It was a Saturday so I had to wait until Monday to call the car lot. I spoke with **** the sales *** that sold me the ******** told me that I would have to speak with ****** the manager on Wednesday because she was out of town when I looked in the middle console of the car,I found paperwork to a lady that had just purchased the same car on June 20th,2024 I called her & asked her Why she no longer have the car that I just bought a month later & she said because the engine was going out it was jerking,stopping on her the same things that was occurring while I was driving the car. She also stated that she took the car back to the car lot & was allowed her to get another car,so once I spoke with ****** the manager I asked her was I able to do the same thing after I took the car to get it diagnosed ****** told me if I a car bring her another $1300.I explained to her that I havent had the car a full two weeks that the car is cutting off while Im driving in the middle of traffic almost causing several accidents she told me that she wasnt able to talk to me anymore & she wouldnt give me another car like the previous young lady that had brought this car back once ****** told me that she would not allow me to get another car or give me back my $1300 I took the car to a auto mechanic *********** said the scanner read that the car needed a $230 sensor for the engine, once the mechanic tried to put the sensor on the engine they noticed that THE ***** DIDNT GO TO THAT CAR, didnt match the 2012 ***** equinox that I purchased from advance auto sales I was not able to pay to get the car fixedbecaus the car doesnt have the right motor in it ,now 14 days later advance doesnt want to reimburse me or allow me to get another car after knowing that they sold me a car that engine is going out after someone had just returned it for the same thing.

      **** came in our location on July 10th, 2024 to purchase the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. The customer had every right to drive the vehicle & have it checked out before purchase. We can not control what the cars do when they are driven every day. We go over multiple papers in the contract at the time of sale that the cars are completely AS-IS, i will include all paper work with this letter. Customer did contact the office on having issues after purchased about a week stating the car was doing something, we did advise her that unfortunately there was nothing we could do because the car is completely AS IS. The motor is not the wrong motor for the vehicle, the motor that is in her vehicle will work for so many year model equinox's. No paper was falsified, we got the car back from the previous owner replaced a timing chain in the said motor she's saying is the wrong one, then the car sat until she purchased it. I will not speak on the previous customers situation. We did give her the option to give the car back & get out of the loan, or go into something else but she had to pay to go into something else, it was not good enough for her. Even offered to let her bring the car back, pay her current loan off & she would just have to pay to go into whatever else she wanted. We do not have to do that, she signed a contract on this vehicle. Her situation is completely different than the previous customers. Per our contract customer is responsible for all repairs & maintenance on the vehicle in the duration of the loan & it is made clear up front.  At this time there is nothing further we will do.       On 1/3/24 I gave Advance auto 1000 down on a 2012 Dodge Journey they promised me had just been checked and inspected and was mechanically sound. On 1/4/24 the car overheated and turned off. I let it cool off and took it the lot. They took the car for an hour and said it was nothing wrong with it with white smoke bellowing from it. On 1/5/24 the car cut off on the highway ramp on ******* and would not turn back on. Strangers tried to help me push the car to the side of the road and it would not go in neutral. I called Advance auto once again. ******* said I was just going to have to put water in it because she was not getting cussed out by ***. (Not sure who *** is) and hung up. I called back and she said I can pay her son in law to fix it but I paid them everything I had 2 days prior. The city towed the car. I paid $1,000 and didn't get to go to work because the car didn't work.

      Upon purchasing the car I have had to replace parts on the car, it has a gas leak, then when I got behind on a payment due to having the car fixed they towed my car. I had to pay $725 to get the car back. They sent another tow company to come get the car so basically in ******* laws they gave my information to a stranger.

      ***** Back came in on March 15th, 2024 to purchase her ******* Elantra. She did get repossessed on may 15th, 2024.Customer payment came due April 26th, she did email us stating, "my check will deposit on Monday my bank will not do a deposit on the weekend its the next business day. So I can make the payment on Monday if that is okay." I replied with " Today is fine" On April 29th, 2024. She did not come in nor make the payment with us. We spoke with her over the phone on May 6th, 2024 claimed she was activating a new card and would make payment online. Customer never made payment. Customer had another payment hit her account on May 10th, ******* did not send the Customer out until May 15th, 2024. There is nothing in my notes nor *****'s emails she was communicating with us asking us to work with her because of repairs. So yes she did get sent out for the reasoning of, she was two full payments past due at that point and had multiple promises to pay that she failed on. We can not offer the customer a refund at this time. All our vehicles are sold without warranty. The customers are told up front in signing that they are responsible for payment and all repairs.

      I bought this car from them in march2024. I have put a lot of money into trying to fix the car, I think the car lot should be responsible for repairs. Yeah cars are as is but also a persons life is more important. *** replaced an evap sensor, I had to replace fuel injectors, headlights was wired together which almost caused the car to burn. Need I remind you I have children so if something would have happen they would be at fault for faulty wiring. If something doesnt get done I will take them to court

      i just emailed the company on July 16, 2024 and told them to take an $80 payment out and they have not accepted the payment. I didnt ask them for repairs because they wouldnt help other people with theirs so why would they help with mine.

      Read their reviews. They dont help anyone, they should be responsible to tell the buyer what is wrong with the car just like any other car lot. I didnt ask them for help with a car i took it upon myself to put the car in the garage and the work that has to be done on it will cost me over $1,000. They do not read any agreements or anything before selling the car they just take your payment give you the keys and make payment arrangements. If a family buys a car and leaves that place and gets in an accident because of them not disclosing information that will be on them. So many people have problems with their cars, they dont give help. By what I have seen its a lot of theft, and taking advantage. I took this car to an actual dealership who told me that this car was not worth $10,000 if they sell it at an auction its only worth $2000. Where is the fair pricing? Where is the honesty? Where is the being fair to the customers? Where is the integrity of the company? I offered to make a payment they refused to read my email and I have proof of it. If it needs to be sent in I sure will send it. The car is currently at the mechanic shop getting repaired for gas leaks and engine problems. So if were responsible to pay for the car thats got all kinds of faults to it shouldnt we be allowed to make what we can on a payment since I am trying to repair the damages?

      All pricing was gone over with customer at the time of sale. I personally went over the contract with the customer. ***** has a 14 year old car unfortunately we can not control when things go wrong with them. We do our best to maintain them before they are sold but once they're driven every day issues may occur that are out of our control. ***** has a drivers license, so she had every opportunity to drive the car and have it checked out by a mechanic before purchase. All our vehicles are sold AS - IS. I have attached Both AS IS forms that were gone over and signed along with the contract with all pricing that was gone over and agreed upon with the customer. Again at this time we can not offer a refund to customer.

      First off my ex husband was with me when we purchased the car and he is a witness as to you didnt disclose anything to us except exchange of payments. So dont try to say that you guys read an agreement. The bald guy told me straight out when I text drove the ****** Prius that you guys repair vehicles before selling them. And every light in the dashboard on in that car. Where is the repairs done at? Because a lot of people is having problems with their cars. I dont want a refund I want you to take responsibility for your actions!! The lies, then you wouldnt accept a payment because why? If you are into selling cars as is then disclose what is wrong with the vehicle so we as the customer know what we have to repair. You sell lemons and expect us to make payments while our vehicles break down on the side of the road. I was traveling with my daughter and the whole car just died on the interstate because of the gas problem that it has. What if we would have gotten hit by another vehicle!! We should not have to worry about our safety and the safety of others because of the consequences of your actions. I have had to replace a headlight 4 times because of the wires being burnt together.

      This is an attachment of 2 times I have offered to make a payment and they are not taking payment. Why are they refusing payment? I never one time said I would not make payment on the vehicle. I stated before I dont want refund I want them to take responsibility for their actions and consequences.

There were no warnings light on when I purchased my car the check engine light came on 3 days later and the code was the catalytic converter.       Customer did Purchased the 2007 **** Taurus  from our lot on 3/14/2024. Customer was given every opportunity to test drive and get the vehicle checked out before purchasing. Upon signing all the paper work with the customer he was made fully aware that the vehicle, all vehicles actually are completely sold AS-IS. Customer signed an AS-IS disclosure and was advised they were responsible for all repairs and maintenance on the said vehicle after pulling off in the vehicle per the contract he signed. Unfortunately they are used vehicles we can not promise when an issue may arise when the vehicle is driven every day. Due to the contract the customer signed i can not offer any kind of compensation for the repair at this time.

      yes he did buy a car on a as is contract. he told us it  was running warm so he had a ****** put a thermastat  in it  the the car would not start up.  we opened up on 3/11/24 with the car sitting out back of are offices on washington street location. we had to change the battery in it and the car started right up . the battery that was in it was completely dead and we had to put 2 gallons of antifreze in the car they didnt fill it back up after changing the ********* and bleeding the system. he called here a few time wouldnt speak to us he only wanted to speak to the owner after we told him it was sold as is.

      I visited the business on 11/13/2023 looking to buy a car. I was told the down payment and sales tax. The office lady basically just told me to sign the papers about the payments, when I asked what buying as it means, she said buy the car in current condition. I paid **** as a down payment and I pay 400 a month and when the car wouldnt start and started the next day I asked if I could continue my payments on another car or return it since it had only been a couple weeks since I first purchased it. They told me over email that I cant since I signed the contract but I dont understand since its so early since I purchased it or why I couldnt continue my payment on another car.

      *********************** came in on November 13th, 2023 to purchase the 2009 Cadillac CTS. We contacted ******* on January 10th, 2023 in regards to a past due payment, he then replied on January 11th with he's having issues with the car that very same day wanted us to fix it. It was explained that we do not have a mechanic shop for the public as our cars are AS IS. After that email he replied back demanding a refund or to be put into another car. Advised him again that was not an option, If he did not want to do the repair on his vehicle that he could do a voluntary return and we would not charge him any further. He signed an AS IS form with his contract and was verbally told that he is buying the car completely AS IS. I will include the signed form with this response also. ******* returned the vehicle to the side lot of the car lot on January 18th.

      My car was picked up on the 6th of November I was informed that they cleaned all my property out of the car and that it would be there waiting for me that I had 30 days to pick it up it took me until the 30 days to get transportation over to get my items once I receive my items they told me everything was there and the car was auctioned when I got my property home and went through it all besides being told that the $30 that was in the little compartment beside the steering wheel there was nothing they would do about that they would not give me either the money nor my spare tire that I just spent $50 for and the **** and everything else that was in the back of the car they said they could not take that out but going through my property there were several things missing I did receive all my clothing and my some of my tools and stuff like that but I did not receive a couple of very expensive items and then a couple of personal items I had a Ryobi car charger I had a Ryobi light and attached to the light was one of the Ryobi batteries which those three are very expensive and they were part of my business I had two phone holders one was on the window and the other one was on the Revere mirror also hanging from the rear mirror was a purple cross which was important to me because it was part of my disease which is lupus I got one of my chair covers but not the other I had gotten the wires back for charging things in my car but not the ports that go plug into the charging port underneath the heater in the car but like I said I didn't get the $30 that was in the compartment next to the steering wheel I didn't get my spare tire that I just purchased which was over $50 plus the **** that was with that they already told me that that was not going to happen but I called yesterday and tried to get this resolved through them and then called again today and they pretty much told me sorry about your luck I really need help getting these things back because I am on I fixed income and already got screwed with the first deal of even getting the car because I changed the rules and told me something that I did not know anything about and took the car anyway they give back property of people that is illegal but then give property back to somebody that it was right there on the seat and I could have given it back to me had nothing to do with the car and supposedly and miraculously my car got auctioned off right away doesn't make any sense to me I don't mean to complain I don't even like to do this but there's no other choice I'm tired of being used or taking advantage of

      I didn't include everything missing and couldn't add to it after sent. I have short term memory loss so yes first time seeing your response.  There where 2 blue and multi colored flap pouches in ****** councel one had my medical things in it ( my inhaler, band aids , ECT) there one had ( pens, sawing stuff, and few other things) I had a purple cross hanging from review mirror that a very close friend gave me on a black leather chain witch was given me for my lupus and it was gone too im  they gave me one of my pink seat covers back but not the other i had my stearing wil coveref with a pink cover that wasn't cjeep either like seat cover  and cleaning supplies for my job they didn't give it back either. I really brakes my heart to report this but these things where important to me or part of my lively hood what made me money to live. Thank you for your time hope this can be fixed because I did talk to then twice to make it right be for telling them I would contact you and there response was you will not do anything.  So hopefully something good comes from doing this cause it's wrong what they did

      *********'s vehicle was repossessed on the 8th of November, 2023. We clean the cars completely out and bag items, every single item in the said vehicle. Customer defaulted on a first payment, advised her unfortunately first payment defaults are ************ offs of loan. We gave her every single item that was in the car when it was picked up by the agent. Car came with a donut and hardware to change tires, so no nothing would be returned to customer if it was replaced. We held customers belongings past the 30 day **** also to help her out, so technically the belongings were past the 30 day legal amount for us to hold. At this time i can not offer any help, as we did return all the belongings out of the said vehicle and did all we can at this time.

So that is not true about having it past 30 days.  I bought and paid for the spare tire and jack  and put it in the car.  Because it didn't have anything in there. And for the items that I mentioned in my previous statements it is also they did not return it. They did not return it, they did not return my cash money. They did not return any items that were in the car, they did not return my charger and all that other stuff. It is true in fact and I have no reason to lie I didn't even want to make a claim, but they pushed my hand because they didn't want to make it right, they still need to make it right. I'm sure that you can understand if you need anything else, it's easier for me to talk about it than it is for me to write, I'm not very good in putting things in words. Thank you.       We returned every item that was in the car at the time of repossession. We have no reason to take any belongings of the customers. All items are bagged and stored for 30 days then disposed of.  Ive talked to my receptionist since the first complaint filed, customer called on the last day and spoke with *********, said she couldnt make it asked if we could hold it a few more days. Customer did not come until the following week. There is nothing more I can do. All items that were in the car was returned.

      On 9/23/2023 I went an purchased a car from the car after driving the car it stated making sounds reach out to the car lot asked for the manager she stated to me there is nothing they can do. On 10/14 I went an got an oil change. It started making knocking noise on 9/16 I took the car back to ********** on east Washington Street they rechange the oil an then stated the noise is from inside the motor an this is not just a problem that occur they told me car lots puts a heavier oil in cars an a chemical to die off the sound when ****** a car am then when i changed the oil it cleared out everything they had put in so the problems are now heard. I then took the car to a shop where I was told the Total cost would be $1800.00 for parts an labor because they have to go in the motor an the car need a new water pump. I reached out the car lot an advise them on the problems I asked could they switch the vehicle out they said no I ask could they help with repairs they said no. They go on to tell me that I can bring the car back and they will suspend the loan which I will not longer owe anything on the car. I told them that is not fair an I haven't even had the car 30 days. They also told me the car is as is an there is no lemon law on as is cars. They repeat well there is nothing we can do. I still owe $10,000 for this vehicle an is still making my payments an all I asked was for them to pay for repair. Not only did I just gave them $1700.00 down plus 2 payments of 230 bi weekly I still have to pay $1800.00 for the repairs.

      *************************** Purchased the 2010 Chevrolet Silverado from our lot on 9/22/2023. Customer was given every opportunity to test drive and get the vehicle checked out before purchasing. Upon signing all the paper work with the customer he was made fully aware that the vehicle, all vehicles actually are completely sold AS-IS. Customer signed an AS-IS disclosure and was advised they were responsible for all repairs and maintenance on the said vehicle after pulling off in the vehicle per the contract he signed. Unfortunately they are used vehicles we can not promise when an issue may arise when the vehicle is driven every day. Due to the contract the customer signed i can not offer any kind of compensation for the repair at this time.

      I understand that a vehicle is sold as is. But not in 3 weeks. I was not offered another vehicle we are speaking of 3 weeks of having the vehicle. I would not have known of any issues if I had not got the oil changed . It was also mention to me from ********** an the mechanic that it was a thicker oil put in to silence the sound. I do not feel that is ok. I feel the car lot should be responsible for the parts or the labor I paid a $1670 down payment then 3 weeks later had to pay $1800 to fix the vehicle which it was in the shop from 10/17 through 11/14. On top of still making my payments on time. This is not right are fair to the customers. This is a rip off

      I got my car August 7th. They told me nothing was wrong with it and they put a new turbo in it. I put **** Down on this car and havent even made my first payment. The engine light came on August 10th and the car became very hard to accelerate. I went and got a diagnostic on the car and they said it was the turbo. It was a weekend so I waited until Monday to take it up to to Advanced Auto Sales. When I got there I showed them the problem and they said there was nothing they could do. I told them about the Indiana Lemon Law and they said that it only applies to new cars and basically brushed me off so I left. I am a 19 year black female. I was alone in this process so they got over on me. Yesterday August 24th, I was driving it to work. All the lights came on and the car stopped in the middle of the road, in the middle of traffic. It wouldnt start and was very hard to steer. Now I dont know what to do. They wont help me. They wont do anything. I was only using it to go to work and home.

SHE DID COME BACK UP LETTING US KNOW THERE WAS SOMETHING GOING ON WITH THE *** ***S LATER, WE EXPLAINED TO HER THAT UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO.
