            They charged me $7500 to remove a lien from home when they were aware of my situation with my house. They were unwilling to prove why they did it that required them to demand $7500 from me. We have text and supposed phone conversations they say they have but never provided anything back up anything they were talking about. They are rude unprofessional crooks who will try to bully you to either get money from you or try to take your home. This bit of a long story and not enough characters to type it all.             PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE THEM!!! 1) They will be the best initial offer you will receive out of the quick buy companies. 2) They will meet you at your house and drop the price way down from what they quoted you on the phone. 3) They will have you sign a contract right away. 4) They will call you back and have some reason they need to lower the price even more before they sign their end of the contract. I agreed to a price and signed the contract while still at the house. They called me later and said they had to drop it $10,000 more than I had agreed to, because they needed to fix the driveway. I was in a hard spot and had no choice ... they sold the house later without touching the driveway. 5) Also (side note), you will pay closing fees, mine was $700. UPDATE: I just found out from the water company that HouseMax did not call and hook up the water after they bought my house ... $205 on my bill that I had to straighten out. So much for their integrity!
