      Worse experience my spouse and I have ever gone through. Saw First Fidelity's ad for 9 month CD at 4.50% APY. Called and had to wait for a packet of info then make an appointment. Thought strange we had to make appointment but my spouse and I went to Louisville, KY office at 11;00A and met with an Anthony S*****. (I had called prior because reminder said thank you for interest in one year CD. I told the person who answered we were only interested in the 9 month CD at 4.50% and asked if still available. She said yes.) Told him right off the bat that we were only there for the 9 month CD and had to be somewhere else soon. He preceded to ask us questions about would we need to cash out CD earlier.? Why did we want a 9 month? Over and over. Then he said let me show you what I have. Again, only interested in 9 month CD. Didn't stop him. Several times he said he would escort us out if we wanted to stop or offered to make us another appointment. Now, we've been sitting there 45 minutes. We said again we were only interested in 9 month CD. He said that isn't how we operate. Almost noon we said we've heard enough. He got up to lead us up front. We said this was a big waste of time. He started actually yelling at us telling us we had wasted his time. This company should not be in business. It was awful. Don't care to hear back from that company or Anthony S*****. Just want to say, "Buyer beware."

      Our process is very simple and for most professional services companies you must book an appointment when those services are in high demand, for example your doctors office, auto mechanic, or even dog grooming. Prior to taking any appointment we send out information on our products and services so the client is fully aware of how we do business before any appointment is scheduled. This cuts down on any confusion the client may have about our services or capabilities as a financial firm. So our process is very usual and customary for service based businesses. When an appointment is booked with our firm a reminder does go out to advise the clients of there upcoming appointment in this case the secretary could have made a mistake when sending out the reminder for a 12 month cd promotion vs a 9 month cd promotion. Regardless of what account you want to deposit funds in, our process is the same for each and every client which is the reason for our firms explosive success in a short period of time.We are required to do due diligence on any potential client before taking in any funds from a client to prevent money laundering, or any other illegal financial activity. There are some financial firms that will take your money and not ask any questions but that is not our firm. We are looking to build long lasting relationships with our clients vs pushing products to clients just to only make a quick commission. In this instance these clients were very evasive during due diligence, pushy, and condescending in tone. It was also noted that these clients did not seem to have a clear understanding of our business process which is why the advisor offered to reschedule more than once as the advisor was being polite to excuse the appointment for another day when the clients could present more mental clarity, had more time, and less anxiety. After due diligence the advisor reviewed the notes to find the best account to match the clients actual goals they stated they wanted to accomplish with there investment. Clients said they wanted a 9 month cd but there actual goals revelated they really needed a money market account for liquidity due to being seniors and was most worried about health issues in the future and access to there money when they need it the most. Money market accounts provide more liquidity than a 9 month CD. CDs carry penalties if money is taken out early before the end of there term, therefore the client would take a loss of interest or principal depending on the bank.It is our purpose to protect our clients investment, and a Money Market account would solve for there stated circumstances. The money market account was never presented due to the fact these client were argumentative and stormed out of the office causing disruption through our offices on there own accord at the end of the advisor doing client due diligence.For any new account deposit, it is at the advisors sole discretion at the appointment, based on client due diligence as to whether the advisor chooses to work with the client or decline the client access to our products and services.
