MY CAR WAS FINE UNTIL I TOOK IT THERE THEY DIDNT PUT MY CAP BACK ON AND PLUS THEY HAVE VIDEO AND AMITTED THEY DIDNT NOW IM OUT OF $700 BUCKS BUT TO NO EVIL 5 MANAGERS AND STILL NOTHING PUT A CLAIM IN THEY DENIED MY CLAIM GUESS WHAT GOING TO GET THAT VIDEO LAWYER UP TIME NEVER NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE $60 IOL CHANGED INTO A $700.0 FIXValvoline Instant Oil Change Response

Absolutely horrible experience at this Valvoline location. I waited over 3 hours for a simple oil change while watching new customers come and go, getting their service done almost immediately. The staff showed no sense of urgency or consideration for customers who had been waiting. It felt like I was completely overlooked and unimportant. I won’t be coming back and would not recommend this location to anyone looking for timely or professional service.Valvoline Instant Oil Change Response

Oil may have been changed ok but skid plate was hanging when my daughter arrived home. When we went back was told that it was broken. The biggest issue is the lies, misinformation, refusal of area managers to speak with consumer and corporate level refused to do anything to rectify the claim stating that they leave it up to the local managers to make final decisionValvoline Instant Oil Change Response

Read the reviews before you go here unless you want to spend hundreds of not thousands on repairs after you leave!! I took my car in yesterday for an oil change which I had to wait over an hour just to be seen. Drove it straight home which is only 6 miles away and didn’t drive it until going to work this morning which is where the problem started. All of a sudden an “engine maintenance required” light comes on. I have a 2019 ****** Rav 4 with 43,870 miles on it and I baby that car. Nothing was wrong with it when I took it in! I called and spoke to Tyler, the manager, who walked me thru how to reset the light, but this was different than the oil light so that didn’t work. He told me to bring it in so I drove straight up there and had a guy try to do the exact same thing I tried and of course it didn’t work. Tyler comes over and says he used to work at ****** and that is an emissions light that I don’t need to worry because it’s no big deal and without even looking under the hood or anything, sent me on my way assuring me it was nothing they did. After looking it up online it looks like a coolant bypass valve that could cost up to $1000. My car was perfectly fine before they touched it. I should’ve followed my instinct and left after watching these people work on the cars in front of me. They took forever and the amount of questions that had to asked by the techs the whole time I was there should’ve been enough of an indication that they have no clue what they are doing!Valvoline Instant Oil Change Response

The location in Dearborn, Michigan did not secure the dipstick. 5 days the car was shooting oil out damaging my vehicle. The area manager Edward and staff spoke to me in a condescending manner when I asked to take the vehicle to a neutral location to have the car inspected for damage. Valvoline isn't even trying to be competitive anymore. Their prices over the years have increased past any other places that do oil changes. My last experience will be my last for sure. I have a Hyundai SUV so nothing exotic. Just for the 6 quarts and generic filter they charge me $115. There was no other services done like windshield wipers, air filters, flushes, etc. Just a regular oil change. I couldn't find my 50% off coupon I had & I finally found a $25 off which still put my bill just past $90. I'm done with these crooks.Valvoline Instant Oil Change Response

Took my car to get a oil change, my car was fine before I took the car in. Come out and the next day the car is putting and smoking... They break your car and try to blame everyone else! They will BREAK YOUR CAR....ALL THEY CAN SAY IS THEY ARE DOING AN INVESTIGATION. I have to go to work everyday now on a pat bus but they dont care. I will be taking them to court and calling the news to their establishment. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO VALVOLINE.Review from Raymond A

This is the complaint for the Valvoline in Rancho Cucamonga, California This shop rips people off and they don’t do the oil change. They just change the filter and leave the old oil in the engine. These people are unbelievable. I take my truck in on the 11th for a state inspection. Have to buy a cheap a$$ wiper blade for the driver side. Then they tell me that their printer is broke but hey it will still be entered into Tex dot so I can renew my registration. The 12th Nope The 13th Nope Someone hit my truck Friday evening so now it’s in the shop for who knows how long. Sept 16th I call the manager and tell him that I’m STILL WAITING. Well our printers still out of ink but it will be in tomorrow. Oh but wait, some idiot left the fail on there and didn’t change it after I bout the stupid wiper so you’ll have to bring in in. ITS IN THE SHOP. “Well sorry we have to have the truck.” I know I’m already frustrated overall but what business that DEPENDS on a printer doesn’t keep a spare? What moron can’t talk to the tech about it and switch it in the system? It clearly states it was Jadon. They left my keys in my truck and then we were looking all over for them so he should remember me between the wiper and the keys! Incompetent!Review from David F

Took my 2016 GMC Canyon truck in for an oil change. It was done incorrectly leaking a quart of oil in less than 3 miles. Noticed it when I saw oil running down my driveway. Took it back with the attitude that mistakes happen. Requested the issue be found and corrected and all would be fine. After several minutes I was told “this type of thing is normal for type of vehicle” (never happened before) was then assured the problem was solved. Next morning I again discovered oil running down my driveway this time it was a much larger area of oil. Again I returned and this spoke with manager it was discovered that the technician did not ensure the rubber O Ring was seated properly thus causing the issue. Ive had issues with them in the past but this is last straw. I reported the issue in an “how did we do?” Email. (LOL) No response
