Read the reviews before you go here unless you want to spend hundreds of not thousands on repairs after you leave!! I took my car in yesterday for an oil change which I had to wait over an hour just to be seen. Drove it straight home which is only 6 miles away and didn’t drive it until going to work this morning which is where the problem started. All of a sudden an “engine maintenance required” light comes on. I have a 2019 ****** Rav 4 with 43,870 miles on it and I baby that car. Nothing was wrong with it when I took it in! I called and spoke to Tyler, the manager, who walked me thru how to reset the light, but this was different than the oil light so that didn’t work. He told me to bring it in so I drove straight up there and had a guy try to do the exact same thing I tried and of course it didn’t work. Tyler comes over and says he used to work at ****** and that is an emissions light that I don’t need to worry because it’s no big deal and without even looking under the hood or anything, sent me on my way assuring me it was nothing they did. After looking it up online it looks like a coolant bypass valve that could cost up to $1000. My car was perfectly fine before they touched it. I should’ve followed my instinct and left after watching these people work on the cars in front of me. They took forever and the amount of questions that had to asked by the techs the whole time I was there should’ve been enough of an indication that they have no clue what they are doing!
