The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either a) did not accept the response, OR b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction.

We had B&D service on 8-1-23 for two side by side bathroom sinks backing up. First time this has happened in the 5 years we lived in our home. Paid invoice for work done on 8-30-23. Approximately five weeks later both sinks backed up again, worse than the first time. Very surprised since only five weeks since initial service, and second sink is used very little. I called B&D to inform the first service call did not solve the problem and to please send someone to do the job right. B&D sent another service person in early September. I explained to the service person the job wasn’t done right the first time. He proceeded to clean out the plumbing again. We received an invoice for the second service call. I called the B&D office and said I had already paid for the service, and to please have the owner call me, which he never did. We have received three more monthly invoices, each one including late charges. I have mailed all of them back to B&D, stating we have already paid for the service and asking the owner to call me. I still have not received a phone call. We feel the job was not done right the first time, and want B&D to stop sending us invoices. Thank you *** ******

Recently had an emergency situation at my 91 year old mother's house of a severely cracked drain pipe leading from the rear of the house to the front and out to the sewer. Blackburn and Davis sent two young men out who took measurements, photos and worked to prepare an estimate which I received by email the next day. The price was very fair and they began work immediately. Unforunately we were hit with a monsoon which was followed by a week of sub-freezing weather which slowed the repair somewhat but the company kept me up date regularly and finished the work really much quicker than I expected. The entire staff of B&D was very professional, responisive to my questions and worked with me to help keep my mother's stress level down. Should I need plumbing repair anytime in the furture I will be returning to this company and recommend the highly!
