I had a 20x20 patio cover with a tongue and groove ceiling built. They were nice and responsive up front, but the final product did not meet expectations. The finish work was subpar and some of the materials used should have been returned to their supplier. Overall, the attention to detail was lacking.There are multiple tongue and groove boards in the ceiling that are not seated properly. They also used several cracked/broken boards, that should not have been used if they took pride in their work. Their solution was to use wood filler that did not match.One of the cypress posts installed has an edge that looks like it was chewed up by termites. They also installed the post to where this blemished edge is the most visible to foot traffic.The boards that wrap the exterior of the patio cover were cut short, leaving a ~1.5 inch gap on both sides toward the front corners. They added a corner trim that was not part of the original design we agreed on. We planned to have gutters installed so the corner trim can't stay exposing the gaps.An electrician came out to install boxes for the fans before they closed in the ceiling. The cuts they left around the electrical boxes were sloppy. I have two holes exposed around the one of the ceiling fans where the cut was too large for the fan box.They offered to pull the lines from the attic for the electrical work and removed a vinyl soffit panel on my house to do this. They cracked the vinyl panel and did not bother putting it back or replacing it.I reached out to the contractor before posting this review. They dismissed many of my complaints as me being picky and/or wood is imperfect, but that doesn't excuse using blemished or broken wood for finish work. I priced out the materials needed to re-do the finish work and replace one posts and presented it to them as a compromise (~$2k). They are only offering to come patch/cover up the shoddy work. Unfortunately, I will have to litigate this matter. I can't recommend them.
