6/29/23 Contacted for load only estimate, hired.7/25 crew arrived 0930.failed to pay attention. Placed over 40 boxes of packed art stacked up outside of the trailer and allowed belongings to get rained on. Crew failed to tell me. Instead they placed rented moving blankets over my wet belongings allowing the water to seep into the cardboard and further damage belongings. Failed to pack the truck correctly leaving over 3 feet of dead space. Placed leather sofa and chair on end causing frame damage. Placed a wet outdoor planter inside against the leather couch leaving marks and causing mold to grow ruining the entire living room leather set. Deep Scraped the leather ottoman ruining it also . Ruined an antique cabinet by breaking off the bottom. Punctured holes in chairs ruining them. Failed to use the provided blankets, supplies to protect all belongings including an ethannalien sectional causing severe damage to the upholstery and frame. Stacked extensive heavy items onto *** antique side buffet causing duvets to the table. Crew left at 3:15 am (day 1, 18 hours on site) then, next day returned at 545 pm staying until 1040 pm. This load job should have been 4 hours top. I am heartbroken about the damage to my belongings. I am seeking 1. Reimbursement of my deposit 2. Payment for new purchase / replacement of new leather living room sofa, oversized chair and ottoman, 3. payment for replacement: purchase of side table buffet, 4.reupholsterey of sectional, 5.payment / replacement for chairs damaged, 6.compensation for irreplaceable antique table ruined. I have saved all texts with the movers , all photos including the unloading findings, affidavits from the crew who found along with me all the damage caused my AOA negligence.
