Customer approved a used motor replacement with a 101 day part only warranty for $2385.00 + $ 249.00 for pilot bearing, manifold gaskets, exhaust gaskets & PTO gasket replacements+ fluids for a total of $ 2634.00. During install we got in contact with customer and told him that he needs to replace pcv valve, spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor, both motor mounts, and replace his clutch because the throw out bearing was not working as as it should be. We stated to him at this time that he would need to replace these parts for the engine to run at its full potential. Customer REFUSED ALL MACHANICS RECOMMENDATIONS. We then continued with the installation. After installation was complete we test drove the truck and called customer to let him know it was done. When customer came he started the truck and drove away in the truck. the truck had no starting issues when it drove away from our business. The customer called us about 2 weeks later to tell us how happy he was with the work and that we worked with him to get this done. Now when the customer called us 3 MONTHS after we installed his used motor he stated, that now his truck wasn't starting. We told him at that time and the time before that we don't work on these big trucks so if there is and issue with the engine then we could look at that but if the issue pertains to anything else we could not help him. He still has a warranty for the engine and we will work on that. After I gave him this information he hung up on me. I apologize for any inconveniences Thank You Managment
