    Awful customer service. They take weeks to months to return calls. My "new" HVAC system was installed 11/22. (I've been trying to get them out since JULY 2024 to fix an issue). Additionally, their work is S**T. They used my original (outdated) HVAC duct system that's patchy, full of holes and didn't replace any of the insulation or properly reinstall it at the least.. resulting in a breeding ground for mold every time we have a hot/humid day. Also my indoor vents and fireplace dripping water from heavy condensation. Now the drywall in my garage around the system has turned to mold. I'm done playing phone tag. This is the work they'll sell to you, take pride in, and tell you it isn't "covered" in your contract when asking them to replace it, when the initial work wasn't done properly to begin with using an OUTDATED system. Do your research into these companies.11/9/24: Got an email response almost 3 weeks later yet still waiting on that phone call.11/12/24:***** came to look at the damage and refused accountability. Raised his voice multiple times reiterating that duct work isn't included in my contract but acknowledged they used the old existing duct system (which created this issue) You'd think when requesting a NEW HVAC SYSTEM that the **** work would be replaced as I'm requesting and paying for a new system, or ensure your customers are aware this is NOT INCLUDED UP FRONT - you're setting your customers up for failure and running your business quite shady. As every time I call, I get the run around you're caring for the elderly which is why I don't get contacted for weeks at a time - I'd think as a company you'd have more integrity. I do not appreciate the lack of accountability and disrespect towards customers who have valid concerns. It took over 5 months to have someone contact me back, come to my house and disrespect me while telling me to contact a lawyer. Wow..... this is the quality of work and type of treatment they provide their existing customers.

    Assured Comfort Services Response

    Ms ********* contracted Assured Comfort Services to replace the Heat Pump and Air Handler at her home in November 2022.  She agreed to the terms of the replacement of said equipment only; duct work was never mentioned as part of the replacement. At no point did Ms. ********* ask to have the ducting looked at or state that there was an issue. 

    This duct work is in the garage of the home, is over 20 years old and installed by a previous company.  At no point did we enter the garage area while at the home; our location of work was in the furnace room and outside the home.  Had we seen the ducting and in the condition it was in we would have recommended replacing or repairing.

    The Heat Pump and Air Handler that was replaced in November 2022 has been working properly as we have performed Preventive Maintenance on this in the past, she seems happy with the performance and quality; and until recently there were no complaints of the ducting in the garage until a year and a half later.  

    We have reached out to Ms. ********* to offer to replace the duct in the garage at no cost and in good faith, however we have not received a response.  We would be happy to resolve this issue for her.
