Subsequently, your employee took down my name and contact information, stating that she needed to consult with her manager regarding the refund policy.After a short wait, I returned to the store and reiterated that withholding sales tax refund is illegal. The employee confirmed that she needed to discuss the matter with her manager and mentioned that this was a standard practice, with no previous challenges from customers.Finally, I received a call from your store and returned for the third time to collect the sales tax refund, as required by law.While I appreciate your team ultimately rectifying the situation, I want to ensure that this issue is addressed to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future. It is important for all customers to receive refunds in accordance with Maine state regulations.I kindly request that you review your refund procedures to ensure compliance with state laws and to train your staff accordingly.
