We bordered our 2 dogs there for 10 days. Huge mistake, they came home sick with diarrhea and vomiting ?? loss of weight, lethargic. Smelly, f**** on body and beds that we took for them. Reported them to Kent County Animal Rescue as well as the Township. They maybe licensed for 25 to 30 dogs but how they are treated is a whole new issue. The dogs are kept in cages and not allowed to run freely only outside. ****** the business and aside from the website it gives you a ******** option. Check that out along with other complaints.

The reviewers two dogs were boarded here for 10 days over Super Soaker Spring Break 2022. It was a challenging time because of all the rain we had on a daily basis, and while it is usually my preference to use the personal beds that are provided, I didnt want to get their beds muddy because I am not able to wash such large beds in my washer and with the amount of rain and mud, the beds would have been ruined. So I used my own bedding and washed it throughout the week. Saying that their personal beds that they provided were smelly and full of f**** is absolutely not true because their beds were not even used. We could not avoid muddy dogs, simply in the course of going outside to potty. Everyone got muddy, even my own dogs. We do not offer bathing or grooming services, as clearly stated on our website. The week of spring break this year was a huge, muddy mess. Unfortunately, some of our guests were quite dirty from the weeks activities, which would have been so different had the weather been more cooperative. How dogs react to being boarded anywhere for a long period of time is impossible to know. Most dogs have a great time and have no issues, some are stressed no matter how diligent the care provided is. It is not uncommon for dogs to exhibit diarrhea from stressful situations, including boarding, and the longer the stay, the more common it is. One of my own dogs experiences this when we board her at the kennel we use. But by no means is this the fault of the boarding kennel. It is the dogs reaction to stress. ******* boarding kennel diarrhea.) For the reviewer to say that their dogs diarrhea was caused by mistreatment of some sort while they were here is absurd. Some dogs refuse to eat, and others gobble down everything they are served. Some dogs play the whole time, others prefer to stay quiet in a corner of the house. Our guests live in our home with us, just as our own dogs do. Contrary to the above, they are completely cage free all day long and are only crated during the overnight hours in standard household crates. They all have a choice to go outside to play or stay inside to relax. Some dogs are always ready to play and have more outgoing personalities, and others are quiet, more reserved, and timid. But everyone has a choice. I wouldnt open my home to others dogs if I didnt love dogs as much as I do. We have hundreds of happy clients and happy dogs who come and stay with us, some for their entire lives from puppyhood to old age, and we come to love these dogs as our own as we integrate them into our family when they are here.

The owner's comments are absolutely false and untrue. I have photos of both beds and that tellls another story. To say they were only caged at night is untrue. The dogs both were so lethargic if they had been there another day or two would have died from mental and physical abuse. I have talked to two other parties that had bored their dogs there and we all had a similar story. That is why I called Animal Control and the BBB. I would be wasting my time if there weren't issues. The owner wants to tell a positive story. Business was taken care of on her front porch, my husband wanted to write a check and started to pull the door to go in and write a check and she said "you can't come in" she is hiding something in her house. She has a barking dog she says that's why you can't come in, not true the dog is there as a decoy and a ploy for here business.
