We went to LaFontaine to purchase a new vehicle and trade in our expiring lease. We were over the miles on our lease turn in, so they added the mileage overage amount to the loan for the used vehicle we purchased. Lafontaine never paid off the mileage overage on the vehicle we turned in and now my credit has been affected and **** credit is harrassing me for payment. We spoke to management once about this issue and they said it was taken care of. When we continues to receive calls from ****, we called back but no one in management at Lafontaine will return our calls.Business response

My wife GMC Terrain had oil consumption problems. Complaining about it since 2021.Adding oil in between oil changes when the oil life endex was good reading 50%.The vehicle passed the oil consumption test,I was told to keep adding oil between oil changes. The last time it was 5 quarts low.We had to get it repaired Cost $ 5296.48.GMC knew about the issue, but didnt pay for the repair or tried to help with the repairsBusiness response

Purchased a vehicle less than a year ago was told that it had a 72 month warranty was not told that it is an itemized warranty or that it is through the finance company credit acceptance or that the car had sustain an accident not the cradle is broken and I have to pay a large amount for replacement including car note.Business response

Customer purchased vehicle back on 1/12/2023. The vehicle passed and complete a used car vehicle inspection prior to purchase. We did notice the customer got into an accident on 10/30/2023 with ******* miles on it and now is in service with ******* miles with issue. We're confident something happened during this accident and explained to customer to talk with insurance company to see if they may have missed this repair when fixing vehicle from the accident.Initial Complaint

on 6/29/23 my leas that is only one year old sunroof went out one dealer tried to fix it gave me car back week later, but need it another part to get fixed when i complain about the time that is taking to get it fixed and I'm paying $ amount dollars for sunroof to enjoy cant guarantee me to get the part on time or get fixed i asked if i can trad the car i was referred to my original dealer who i leased the car from so i called spoke to **** who was never a help at all he insisted on want to start the whole process from 0 he stated i have to make an appointment to bring the car sit there hrs. **** work in mean time so he can check the problem that other dealer 1/2 fixed because of other part that is no lead time on when is going come in and i was told can't give me a loner need two weeks wait for that i asked about trad in the car insisted that i need gm plan pay 640 dollars considering you have A1+ credit he stated why do i need new gm plan for leas that not expired and pay $ 225 more when the car is only one year old. never got the answer i also emailed him the paper work from the dealer like he requested to save time he said 8/1 i emailed him asked after few conversation with him back and forth on 7/28 if the part has been even ordered yet he stated oh we don't order the part with out the approval of the customer seriously this whole time his arguing with me on email me the paper work we can try to get the part and look in another dealer nothing was done nothing. I need the car either to be fixed and two payment deducted of do to lock car functioning or the car trad in to have what I paid for working please i tried emailing the *** of gmc on 8/1 hoping to help i got nothing called customer service on multiple time from the 7/28 kept telling me how there going try there best to help me yet I have not gotten call back from no one . please helpCustomer response

Business has not contacted me at all I previously said there the worst customer service you ever get he never contacted Me to tell me if part is in or anything however my truck was fixed by other dealers ship just so you aware I do appreciate you following up with them thank uuBusiness response

They should adjust my payment or get compensation for the rudeness that old manager put me through for month refused to listen and not order the part I need it
