            Polar seal came out and put in a set of windows in my home. The installers were not careful. They severely damaged some expensive aluminum shutters on the front porch. I requested that they be replaced with the same quality shutters and they put up cheap plastic shutters instead. After some back and forth with no resolution, I found some good quality shutters online and the ones they used, took the difference (about 800$) and shorted them that amount to cover the cost of the new shutters. So in return, they voided my warranty. Now 5 years later the windows are falling apart. So I will be fixing them myself. Be careful with these windows. The bottom brackets snap off like a toothpick and the springs that assist the up and down also break. So if youre looking for quality products and a good install, dont choose polar seal. Thats just my opinion.

            Our apologies for damaging your shutters. Our records indicate that we attempted to obtain proof of payment for the new shutters from you several times, but our requests went unanswered. We therefore felt that without proof of buying new shutters, the amount shorted was unjustified and had no choice but to void the warranty seeing as the terms of the contract were not fulfilled. We installed 3 orders for you; the first in 2010, then again in 2011 and finally in 2015. We have record of just 1 prior service request; in 2021`.If you'd like to revisit the final payment situation, we are more than willing to discuss.
