Our toilet was leaking so we called to ask for a service call. A repair person came out on Monday. Spent literally 10 minutes in the bathroom and came out and said it was fixed and charged us $400. An hour or so later my husband went back in the bathroom and there was water all over the floor. When my husband inspected it closer he noticed the tank was leaking and what the repair person worked on was the base of the toilet. We then called the company back. They indicated they would send another person out on Friday. When my husband asked about how they would rectify the original $400 charge they said they would let us know when they came on Friday. When the repair person came on Friday, he looked at it and gave us an estimate of $585 to replace the toilet and $385 to fix the leak. When we asked him about the initial $400 bill and the fact that nothing was fixed he appeared surprised and said he would need to make a phone call. He went out to his truck, spent about 15 minutes out there, and came back in and said OK, It would be $585 for a new toilet or $215 to fix the tank. So in effect we paid $615 to repair a leaking tank. When I google the average cost of that it ranges between $250 and $300. I did email the company and never got a response. I feel we were grossly overcharged, and I think it is a horrible business practice to not respond to email complaints
