I started a kitchen renovation project in February 2022 with the *********** They do business with Certified Flooring Installation (CFI) and subcontract the project management with them. The total cost of my project is approximately $32,000. This company, CFI, is in charge of scheduling contractors i.e. carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc. to come to my home and complete the work. My cabinets were delivered by American Woodmark in May 2022 and sat in my home until August 2022 despite repeated calls and voicemails. The project was straight forward and did not include custom work: demo, electrical, cabinet install, plumbing, countertop install, backsplash, final electric, trim and hardware install/miscellaneous to complete the project. . The demolition happened end of July 2022, with electric happening the same week. From there it took another 2 weeks for the cabinets to be installed. The wrong blueprint was provided to the installer, but this was caught by me prior to install. After that, the wrong plumber was sent to my home and partially completed work before I had the correct plumber call me and request the work to be stopped. My countertop was not installed until mid-September. The backsplash was completed the final week of September. The final electric was completed October 4th. I still do not have my quarter round trim, crown molding, or cabinet hardware installed, and I am still running an extension cord to power my microwave that needs to be put back. The project manager they had assigned to me was the manager's son, *******, who was never available and would dodge my calls. He eventually was fired due to poor performance and no communication was given to me at all. I have called their office repeatedly throughout this entire experience and majority of the time nobody answers. I am very frustrated as I feel like I am the project manager and I paid for a service I did not receive which resulted in longer times without a functioning kitchen.
