    I had kitchen fire on 6/22/22 ************ came out to do the contents on 7/8/2022 I was told upon first meeting that they would determine loss of multiple multiple boxes I have in my dining room . Boxes contain furniture . Thus was not assessed . They stated kitchen was a total loss but never reviewed not one dish , cooking set , crock pot , toaster , did not make list of anything in kitchen , this how do determine value . Thus in bathroom they marked that my shower chair was total loss , but noting about bedside commode (2) sets of dentures and all personal items in their not inventoried . The first bedroom that also took lots of damage due it is right off kitchen off kitchen , that closet has multiple items no tag of cash out or total loss . I have book shelf , they only took pictures , the books , some costly related to occupational as RN . They never noted in closet their is a storage area with items not assessed for loss or cash out . Master bedroom noted (2) phones missing & have a 5 shelf unit with multiple items not Marked at . I noted they marked a ****** in living room as total ****** but clearly another in Den not counted it contents . I was told that medical wedges & cervical medical pillows would be determined as loss bu integrity thus not counted , thus not labeled . I so disappointed at this time with this company . I was also told we dont do electronic on that day . She states the adjuster I hired will do that , but was what I was told before signing the contract. She even stated I have to open up all boxes etc . I cant not see how she can turn in an accurate dog assessment of contents in a home if you not counting every item . Thankful I am an internet shopper And have receipts and copies of 80 percent of everything in my home . I thought they were hired by me not my insurance company but seems everyone looking out for my insurance company . The dining chairs seats are cushion but they cash out they took most of damage , it next to fire

    I'm sorry if you feel we did not provide service to your satisfaction. However, your insurance company informed us that they would be writing and pricing the total loss contents. We were told NOT to write total loss, so that was not our responsibility. As far as the other items that could be saved, we were only there to document salvageable items. You informed us that we are not boxing anything, we are not taking anything, we are not cleaning anything. You informed us that your son would handle doing all of that. So, our job was to document what we thought could be cleaned and saved to give your insurance company a baseline for cost, that is all. A cash out on a table means you get the cost for us to clean it, not replacement value for the table. We were not hired to box things, we were not hired to write total loss, we were not hired to clean things, and we were not hired to price anything but the cost of cleaning anything that could be saved. I'm sorry if this is confusing to you, but we did exactly what we were hired to do.
