They installed a heating system in December 2022 in my attic and it supposed to come through my vents and heat my home. It was improperly installed, and I can't use it. It made me sick and had to go to the emergency room and they kept me overnight. They just threw the fiberglass in my attic and charged me over $3000 for this. They did not install this right. I would like for them to come back, take all of this out of my attic and take it with them and to refund my money.Business response

In response to the homeowners complaint there are some inaccuracies that we would like to address. In May of 2022 the customer contacted us to replace her air conditioner. We did the job and added both a new condenser and a air handler in her attic. The air handler is designed to distribute the cool air from the outside air conditioner through the home. ******************* agrees that the air conditioning is not an issue and is performing well for her. In December of 2022 Mrs. * again contacted us as her boiler system which was the sole heating source for her residence failed and was deemed irreparable by another company. We were told by the homeowner that the other company charged her in excess of $2500.00 but failed to fix the issue. She was not able to recover her expense or any satisfaction from the company. She also indicated that the company told her the boiler was leaking under the concrete slab that her home was built on. Air Alliance informed her that the due to the fact she had ceramic tile and that the home was **** on a concrete slab that the repairs would likely be exceedingly expensive. She indicated that fixing her boiler was not a viable solution at this point. We did let her know that the only reasonable option we could offer was to add a heat kit to her existing air handler that we previously installed. She proceeded with the job and it was completed in December 2022.
It is important to note that the last correspondence we had with the homeowner was a service call in February 2023. In late March of 2024 we were notified of Mrs.'s * complaint filed with the ****** We promptly contacted her to arrange a service call. We dispatched the service tech as well as one of the owners of the company on April 4th 2024. Upon arriving at the home we noted the outside temperature was 41 degrees and upon immediately entering the home noted the thermostat was set at 73 degrees and it had achieved its set temperature of 73 degrees. A slight drop of temperature was noted when entering the homeowners bedroom. Unfortunately, the challenges this home has, is its age. It was never designed for central heating. The slab concrete, windows, other building materials, roof line, lack of adequate duct work, and lack of insulation or all mitigating factors that can not be overcome without a very expensive outlay of money. It is 100% undeniable that a boiler system is the most effective heating source and it was offered and declined.
*astly, in regards to the fiberglass referenced in the complaint we have never to date installed fiberglass in a home.
Respectfully,
