BUYER BEWARE! We purchased a new A/C system from Air Alliance because the company had previously installed a new furnace four years ago. We have used this company for annual service since the furnace installation. The problems we experienced with the new A/C installation related to labor, not the equipment. The technician: 1. Broke our humidifier, while removing the old plenum; 2. Left a gaping 1" hole the entire length of the new plenum; 3. Failed to level the new A/C compressor; 4. Cut a control wire on the fan in the air handler which prevented the fan switching to a higher speed for A/C; 5. Failed to properly connect the control of the furnace, which prevented the furnace from turning on when the thermostat called for heat. The company made one return call to rebuild the plenum, replace the broken humidifier, repair the broken furnace control, and to level the A/C compressor. Afterwards when we turned on the A/C we discovered it was also not working properly. We notified the company for another call-back, but they were unresponsive. We had an inspection conducted, which discovered that the installing technician had negligently cut an A/C control wire and had left the damper on the new humidifier open. We cancelled our annual service contract and requested a compromise payment of $98 to help pay 50% of the money were out hiring another company to repair the system and to refund a part of the unexpired service contract. To date, Air Alliance remains unresponsive to our e-mail communications concerning the proposed settlement. ******* ****
