We purchased two tickets from Tripster for a dinner cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle in Branson, **. We used the address for the boat launch that was on our Tripster ticket voucher and put that in our GPS. It took us far from the correct location. We stopped a local resident to double check our directions. He told us that several other people had ended up where we were and he didnt understand why Tripster would continue to send people to the wrong destination. He gave us the correct location but by that time, we had literally missed the boat. When we contacted Tripster, they refused to refund our money and suggested we contact the Showboat Branson *************. The Showboat staff informed us that Tripster had purchased a block of tickets, two of which they sold to us, and since our money went to Tripster, the **************** was unable to refund us. They also told us that they had informed the Tripster company on multiple occasions not to put that address on their ticket vouchers, but to instruct people to use the companys name in GPS and not the address. After we contacted Tripster with this new information, they continued to refuse to reimburse us for the tickets. Showboat offered to rebook at an additional booking fee of $30.00 per person. As we were heading home that day, we were unable to reschedule. We still feel the refund should come from Tripster. We will not be doing business with Tripster again and encourage potential customers to consider other options as well.Tripster Response

Thanks for taking the time to share a complaint regarding a Showboat Branson Belle Dinner show purchase. The information viewable prior to purchase on Tripsters website regarding the shows details including the address is loaded by the venue directly. The address on Tripster compared to address on Showboats direct website is the same and correct for the location. We also offer a viewable map for the exact location of the venue when shopping the website. After purchase, a confirmation voucher is provided for check-in with the same address and instructions for check-in. The instructions state that the check-in must occur at least 45 minutes prior to the departure time listed on the ticket and dont miss the boat. Failure to arrive early and make the showtime will result in no refund and no reschedule. After the cruise time was missed, the venue did offer the option for the guest to reschedule for another cruise time at only the cost to prepare another meal. After much review, we have found no false information regarding the exact address location for check-in. We unfortunately cannot control the device or instrument used for directions. The policy listed on the confirmation by the venue is the policy we too must live by, as the tickets were provided and a meal prepared in anticipation of their arrival. We are unable to offer a refund if they missed the boat.Review from Joseph G

Tried to buy Anakeesta tickets through Tripster. They charged my card THREE TIMES. Wanted to call the company, they shut down at 5PM. Called the credit card and told them I wanted a fraud alert on Tripster charges. Don't waste your time with Tripster. All you do is spend several hours trying to fix Tripster overcharges. Funny reading the reviews they seem to always have an excuse and blame everyone. Was not worth the $5 I would have saved.Tripster Response

Wed be happy to investigate in regards to any pending charges appearing, but would need more information. Did you attempt to make a booking under a different name or email address? If you attempted to make a purchase and received a decline message, no charges have been collected from Tripster. Any amount you may be seeing when making a charge attempt is likely a pre-authorization, which typically drops off within 1-2 business days. Terrible customer service, was trying to buy a ticket, their security system kept declining my card, it was on their end, my card company kept saying it was approved, Tripster wanted me to try it with a different email or try another card. She even said I should try a different company so I did. Got bad vibes about doing business with thus group.Tripster Response

We always advise guests they can make a purchase on their direct site if you are unable to complete the purchase with Tripster, as we are a third-party reseller. Tripster is a joke. I used BenefitHub through ****** to book a recent trip to ******. When I went to check into the hotel, I found that the hotel didn't even offer the room that I booked. Really enjoyed spending an entire vacation sharing a room with between 4 people. My entire trip, I called everyday hoping for a resolution. Each day I was told they would get back to me when they had an answer. Then, 2 days after my trip was over, they refunded a very small portion of the overall cost of the stay and didn't even let me know. When I called to find out if that was all they intended to do, they said they didn't know why it happened, but that was all they were willing to refund. Guess I'll have to find a different service next trip.Review from Jennifer S

I used my ****** debit card to purchase the 2day Dollywood tickets bundled with a hotel stay. When I paid for it, it said my card was declined. However, they still took the total I owed for the trip. I called and complained. **************** said my money was pending and they couldn't do anything about it. She assured me that the pending charges would fall off the next day. I asked if she was sure, since it was the weekend. Well, Saturday morning, I still don't have my money. To top it off, they also took $64 I had remaining in my ****** account, that had nothing to do with the original purchase.Tripster Response

If I could, I would give them less than one star trips to scammed me I recently purchased tickets to Dolly stampede and Branson, ********. I went through my Apple Maps app and went directly to Branson, Missouri Dolly stampede website, and followed the link that it gave me to purchase tickets. I purchased the tickets and showed up to the show only to be told that I was sold tickets to a different location. I tried to call, the day and multiple times over the next couple days after that I left voicemails over and over again and continuously called. I was told when I was finally contacted four days later that I could get a refund because it had to be within 48 hours I have been hung up on by customer service never called back for messages that I have left. When they finally did answer. I am the one that called them. They were very rude on the phone. I bought the tickets for my twins birthday and they were bawling because we couldnt even see the show we ended up leaving our trip a day early because the whole trip was planned around Dolly stampede Ive never been so disgusted in my life to know that they are perfectly fine with ripping people off. I feel like they do not value their customers. They told me that I needed to reach out to the Dolly stampede in *********, where the tickets were actually for instead of Branson and ask them for a refund , ***** stampede proceeded to tell me that I would have to get a refund from Trister because it was a third-party Company I have been treated like complete s*** through this whole experience and I am so upset because we lost a lot of money for tickets that we didnt even use. Ive never been so disgusted. Not only where my twins bawling, but I was bawling. This is so unfair. I will never be going back to ********* or be using Trister ever again. They tried to redeem the tickets that showed the Pigeon Forge theater at the Branson location. This theater in Branson did not even offer a show at 8:30pm that date. The voicemail left by the customer on our after-hours machine were all returned the following day during open business hours. When the customer did call to speak with an agent, it was already past the allowable cancellation period of 8/18/24 for a refund. We did take the extra steps to reach out to the ************ theater on multiple occasions to see if an exception could be made for a refund, but the theater expressed multiple times they are not allowing any type of refund. The cancellation policy is the theaters policy and something we too must live by, as the customer agreed to this policy in order to complete the purchase. Tripster submitted full payment to the Dolly ******* Stampede theater in ************ prior to their arrival based on the selections made by the customer. The theater prepared the meal and held seats at the location for the 8:30pm showtime on 8/21. The guest was marked as a no show. After much review, we have determined all the information for the venue did clearly list the location was in ************, not Branson. The confirmation sent to the customer was all consistent with their selections for the Pigeon Forge location. We are unable to offer a refund, as the booking was valid, confirmed and paid for in full by Tripster based on the selection and location they agreed to purchase.Review from Adrienne H

Got on tripster thinking I would save money, but apparently I spent more. Had to buy three tickets in order to get two. When going into the show they asked me where's my third person, I said that I had to buy three tickets in order to order it online. They said you do not have to buy three tickets to get two. So the lady at the service desk got a hold of somebody and they told me I had to call tripster, it was out of their hands. I called tripster, they told me it was the dinner shows policy, I would have to get approval from the show. So when I called The Dinner Show, they told me it was tripsters policy that I should have just called their office and asked them. I will never be using a third party for tickets ever again.Tripster Response

Thanks for taking the time to share your booking experience with Tripster. We are sorry to hear about your review. By looking at your purchase, we are showing you did save over $40 versus buying directly for the show and attraction tickets you ordered online. For the show you have mentioned in this complaint at ******** and ***************** show, they offer family-style seating with individual tables that seat up to four people. They do have a requirement that you must select at least 3 seats to buy through Tripster. This information was provided during the booking process and does not allow you to continue through the check-out until the 3-person minimum is meet for this particular dinner show. The offers listed on our website are set by the venue and we unfortunately do not establish the booking rules required. On 7/29, you did reach out to our customer service team to inquire about a partial refund on one childs ticket for a 7/24 dinner and show date. We did reach out to the theater directly to express your complaint about the 3-person minimum requirement listed online and was advised by the box office manager they will not allow any partial refunds at this time. Unfortunately, we have already paid the venue in full for the number of tickets ordered and no adjustments can be made, as the cancellation policy has passed and the information regarding the minimum requirement was clearly visible during the check-out. I tried ordering Titanic and ******** Aquarium in Pigeon Forge tickets online and when I checked out my card was declined. After the 4th or 5th time trying, I called but they could not tell me why and they did not offer to pay by phone. There are other ways to get tickets, stay away from this aggravation. It shouldn't take over an hour to try to order tickets.Tripster Response

I wanted to take my kids to aquatica this morning so i bought single day tickets for Today and tripster took my money but didnt give me my etickets!!! i expect a refund by the time they give me my tickets it will be tomorrow and the tickets are for today only!!!! so here i am at work ready to get off and surprise my kids and i have no tickets to show but i do have my bank account showing it was taken out..Tripster Response

Thanks for taking the time to leave us some feedback. In reviewing your account, we are showing the order showed an error at the time of purchase, but no funds were collected. The transaction was voided the same date the attempt was made and no charge was ever collected from Tripster. Any amount you may have seen was only a pre-authorization, which falls off the same day. Using this company to book a vacation package turned out to be a nightmare. They gave false information & were unwilling to help fix the problem. It was their mistake and made no attempt to help fix it. They were very rude & unhelpful when when we tried fixing the issue. We went back & forth on even taking this vacation for months due to the ****************** & we finally decided to just go for it, they booked wrong hotel, told us we could cancel up to a certain date which they later said they never told us which they most certainly did & were completely rude & defensive when we called to try to correct THEIR mistake. Tried spealing to a supervisor but was told they were too busy to take our call. Save yourself time, ****************** & either use another company or take the extra steps *************** separately. I do not recommend using this company.Tripster Response

The first order you placed online for a hotel lodging reservation with show tickets. You contacted us to inquire about a wheelchair accessible room, but we advised you the booking was only reserved for a standard queen room and an accessible room was not offered through our company for the location you selected. Our agent did reach out to the property to make a request and advised you the unit could only be booked through the property directly. We gave you the option to cancel and book with the hotel directly to accommodate your needs. The agent offered the only other lodging option available through Tripster for a disability access room at a different property in the *****/**************** area for the dates you are traveling. The new booking is confirmed per your request in a Queen ****** ********** Access for a July 8th arrival. The confirmation and tickets have been sent to your email address for reference, as the reservation is confirmed and active.What solution are you trying to accomplish for your confirmed booking?
