They are below zero. I spoke with a ******* and ********* at Equipmentshare to inquire about a lien letter I received that states a lien is being placed on my property for equipment ********************* Corporation (AM) rented from them on August 23, 2023, to do work at/on my property. According to Equipmentshare, if the company AM, rented their equipment and didnt pay, they had a right to place a lien on the owners property. The amount of the lien is $4,939.33. I asked for copies of a contract with my signature on it to support their lien, and a lien would be placed on my property if AM didnt pay. According to Equipmentshares letter, AM is a company out of *******. There is no known company with the name ********************* online, or located in ******** or in the *****************. I asked what equipment AM rented and was told by *********, they rented a skid steer and several pieces. As I continued to ask questions, ********* then stated, this error is on Equipmentshare. The letter I received should have been sent to ********************** I searched county records, the address does not exist. ********* then said a correction will be made. She sent an email to that department and I will receive a letter correcting the error. I dont think this was an error. I strongly believe this is a scam targeting the elderly to scare me and possibly others into paying for services that were never rendered. They could not produce a contract because it never happened. I did not and have not hired any company to do work at/on my home in years. The last was 2011, when a new roof was added. I dont think they thought Id check into this and just pay the amount in fear of losing my home.
