I entered the business to purchase a quartz "white rhino wax straw" for consuming medical marijuana. I am a medical card holder, and manager of a medical marijuana dispensary. I purchased the straw and left. I walked in the ****** ******* next door to make a purchase. I then walked directly to my car. I went to put my purchases away when I noticed the straw looked funky. I pulled off the silicone cap that comes on it, and this wax straw had been used already. I took it back in immediately and was told she could not return the item or she would lose her job, even though I was sold a used product. That was the last of that item in stock, so they would only exchange for the cheaper version straw, and would not give me the money's difference. There are several reasons this is extremely bad. It was gross enough being sold a used product that someone else's mouth has touched. Secondly they essentially sold me a marijuana product out of a non dispensary setting since there was wax in the end of the straw. That being said, had I unknowingly gotten pulled over with the used paraphernalia in my car, that could have been very detrimental to my career. Not only would I like to be refunded for the small amount; but I would like to see some consequences enforced for these ridiculous actions, that more the main concern than the cost.
