              I bought a recliner that was delivered 1/7/23. A little over a year later, the seam on the side of the cushion failed. I contacted SM and explained that even though the 1 yr warranty had expired, I was hoping they might be able to somehow help me. They asked me to submit photos, which I promptly did. I never heard another word from SM, even though I followed up twice by email and once with a letter mailed to the CEO. I just want an answer, even if it's "no".

              This furniture can only be described as JUNK. Within a little over a year on the two recliners that we bought you can see where your elbows sit on the arms... the padding has decreased to nothing. They are starting to sit crooked and the ****** that we bought it from says that it's covered under warranty to return to the company to have it repaired but since the purchase is over one year the buyer is responsible for shipping them to the company and the labor cost of repairs???? That's an amazing warranty isn't it. I wouldn't even give them a half of star!!
