1-1/2 hours in excruciating ear and throat pain waiting to see a doc for my scheduled apt. The doc wasnt even on premises and they kept saying , h*** be right in. He never showed up, ever. They sent in a student to poke and prod at my body, and tried to convince me to take 3 tests that I knew I didnt need, so they had something to bill me for. I explained why my symptoms could not possibly be caused by Covid, strep, or the flu and I didnt want to pay or wait for unnecessary testing. He then told me we might have to test anyhow because that would be the only way to find out what was wrong with me. Im no doctor, but I know enough to know that it was neither of those 3 things. Still they pushed and pushed for testing, trying to prolong the wait as much as possible. However I refused to take the tests without seeing the doc in person. I finally got sick of waiting and being lied to and manipulated, and walked out. I saw three empty exam rooms and one receptionist. I never saw or heard an actual doctor anywhere. This is abuse and manipulation of an Ill person. It is not healthcare. There was no apology whatsoever, in fact, the receptionist acted like she expected it and it happens all the time. I went downtown to a real clinic with a real doctor who saw me within 40 mins and sent me home to get better. A sick person should not be lied to and tricked and stuck in a dirty room in the virus **** of a so called healthcare provider. Riverstone is a joke and I will never go back. Ive had bad experiences before when I needed my pills refilled before a vacation and people werent allowed inside the pharmacy for Covid. I called and called and called and banged on the door during business hours, but the pharmacy was unresponsive, so I had to wait an hour. After no response, I left and had to endure one week with no meds. Was not an enjoyable trip. Again they never apologize for anything. They cannot admit to any wrongdoing whatsoever.
