Our pay off for our trade in vehicle is over 20 days late and were losing our warranty money from our old vehicle, pay off currently isnt done, and our credit is being hurt due to someone elses negligence.

      Hello,

I wanted to update you on this complaint. We went into Lithia today to get our old vehicle back since financially and on paper there has been no resolution or payments. ******************************* one of the financial managers and also the one who did our paperwork. He got into a heated argument with me and I remained calm but my husband had to tell him to calm down  and another saleperson had to intervene and take over. I really hope they share the cameras on this situation. Also they sold our vehicle but still are not able to pay off it but its still in our name and we still have a lien. Also ******** brought up the BBB complaint and threatened to slow our process and not help us so he is sabotaging. This is not okay. We are home now but the only resolution they are giving is to wait on the payoff and provide documents to our lien holder to not hit our credit and late fees. They will call us later today to confirm but its so messed up and not on paper. I have serious doubts.

      Sincerely,

      *************************

We called when they opened to ask them about a car they had on their lot as we are from Boulder and didnt want to load up our newborn twins to drive to Great Falls if there was no chance of us getting this vehicle. ***** told us over the phone he would be no help unless we came up there for him to look at our trade in, but not to worry, he would make it worth wild for us. We loaded up our twins and took off for Great Falls. We didnt even stop to pick up lunch and we didnt want anyone to have to wait on us. We pulled in and saw the car park to the side, so we pulled up next to it and went in, where they proceeded to tell us sorry, there is someone negotiating right now on it and this maybe only happens once every six months that we have two people interested at the same time. We drove 2.5 hours with newborns and we got a simple sorry. We then were told we could look at it while the other group got their trade in looked at, we were told it would take 5 minutes, and then sat for 20 minutes with crying babies for them to tell us the other group purchased it. We tried to call ***** and talk to him after this all went down, but our call was screened. I guess you choose how to run your business not that they probably care, because they didnt seem to care too much when they had us take the trip initially. We spent over $50 in gas to get there, as well as my comfort as I just had major abdominal surgery.

Bought this car back in the beginning of December. They knowingly sold it broken. Had a check engine light on. Said they would fix it. Service took a look at it. Cleared the fault and gave it back. Not even an hour later, the fault was back. And more issues popped up. It would no longer produce heat. It would not blow air at all. This is right when we got the -40 temps. I had to take my kids places in this car. I took it back in. I talked with ****** about bringing this car back and changing it for another. He said, "we're just waiting on the service department to let us know what all is going on with the car." they wanted to know what was wrong so they could low ball it in the buy back and s**** me off instead of just paying what I paid for it a week before. So I told him I'm returning the car. And yes, those are the exact words he used. I still have all the emails and text messages. Then a ******* emailed and I told him I'm returning the car. He refused. Said in *******, its not a law and they don't have to. They purposely sold me a broken car and won't do anything about it. It has been sitting at their lot sense the second week of December, today is 2/13/2023. I did call today and they said the car was fix. So, where was the phone call letting me know it was done. Or did they just happen to get it fix right when I called. I am currently filing a claim with the *** of *******.

****************** purchased an AS-IS vehicle on December 11, 2022. He cannot return the car. As a gesture of goodwill our service department will contact ****************** and assist him with ************** issues.

I am rejecting this response because: they purposely and willingly sold a broken car, and their service department has had a chance, over 2 months to fix it and has failed miserably.

      Sincerely,

I bought my 2015 Dodge Ram in June of 2021. The day after I bought it the check engine light came on for emission issues. When I took it into the dealership they stated that the sensor had gone bad and needed to be replaced and that they didnt catch it before they sold it. In February of 2022 I was taking a trip to ******, ** when my low oil pressure light was triggered and my truck automatically went into neutral. After pulling over and checking my vehicle out I noticed that there was metal flakes on my dipstick and that my oil filter had came off. My truck had the oil changed by Lithia in December of 2021 and the oil filter had not been touched since then. After working with the dealership to get a new engine I finally got one after two months of going back and forth with them trying to figure out what was going on. I picked up my truck on 5 May 2022 with the new engine and on 6 May 2022 the check engine light came on again. On 9 May 2022 the dealership stated that another sensor is broken and will need to be replaced. After dealing with all of that I decided to go to a different dealership to look at new trucks. During this process the dealership ran a report on my truck so they could make me an offer. During their checking they discovered that there was severe damage resulting from an accident in July of 2018. This information was never brought up from Lithia when I asked about the vehicles history before buying it, nor was it brought up when I asked to see any records they had on the vehicle. After reviewing the records even further the severe damage was announced at the vehicle auction the truck was sold at 7 days before Lithia listed it for sale.

I was sold a lemon vehicle. They tried to fix it and it took them weeks. A part needed to be replaced and they just reset the computer. The dealership would not return the vehicle. The bumper was falling off. The drivers window was broken and would make popping noises. The vehicle would not shift properly and was not safe to drive. The battery died after the dealership claimed to put a brand new battery in.
