To begin with, I don't like giving reviews, but there are times when one must be done.Entered Kitchen Bath and Gallery on February 6, 2023 in Chapel Hill at the *********************** **************** Asked for a quote from a female, TC. I received a $16,888 written quote from her for $177.76 per square foot, which included the template, delivery, installation, tax, faucet holes, and under mount. This quote did not have a date of expiration. On March 2, 2023, NOT EVEN 30 DAYS AFTER FIRST QUOTE, my project manager, who could never get returned calls or texts from TC as well as myself, finally received a new quote from her. The quote had increased from $16,888 ($177.76 per sq ft at fabrication of 95 square ft total) to $19,007 ($225.57 per sq ft at fabrication of ***** sq total - NOTE: LESS SQ FT ON THIS ONE THAN FIRST QUOTE, BUT ESTIMATE IS HIGHER), a $2,119 increase. Called TC re this increase and was told that "she had made a mistake and that there was nothing more that she could do other than "not charge the credit card fee of $300.00." Relayed msg to my husband and he called her. He explained that when his salespeople at his fencing business make an estimate mistake it's at the company's loss and not the customer. He asked that she leave a msg for the mgr to return his call, but to no avail. I called and left a msg for the manager to return my call as well, in which he finally did. Prior to the mgr's call, TC reissued a third quote decreasing the estimate to $14,758, which is something I feel she should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, as I waited for the manager's return call, found the same Cambria ******** Quartz from Carolina ****** in Apex, in which the estimate for the countertop and island with all taxes, material, etc., for $12,754.88. This kind gentleman stated it was their number one seller. I can't understand how there was such a huge difference from one Kitchen and Bath to the other. That location is not trustworthy. Buyer beware!

As we discussed on the phone prior to your post: - we work hard to ensure EVERY client has a positive experience here at K&B. we are truly sorry that was not your case. - the budget numbers provided for your project were based upon square footage numbers y'all provided, and at the bottom of the budget worksheet, it states clearly that we would need to verify the ******************* before providing an actual estimate. - this is due to a variety of factors, including kitchen layout, so that we can better calculate the number of slabs needed for a project, as well as the complexity of the kitchen. this is especially important in a case such as yours, where the quartz you liked is not one we keep "in stock," and therefore must manage by the slab.
