I had flooring replaced by ************************** company in my current home in May 2024. When I was shopping for the floor their salesperson, Mr. ****** promoted one of their product, Mohawk Ultrawood Hickory as a premium-grade product. It is a floating engineered hardwood floor. Since it is a floating floor, I specifically asked him if it produces sound/noise when we walk on this after the installation as that will be my only concern to choose this product. He said it is a premium-grade product and doesn't produce noise/sound like other typical engineered floating floors. I have shopped at many shops in the last two years and did not buy the floor from other companies thinking that the floating floors produce echo sounds which I hate but I trusted ******* words and signed the contract with them. But the day after the floor was installed, I realized it was NO different than other typical cheap 4 mm floating floors that make a banging sound when we step on it. I immediately expressed my concerns the next day with the managers, ******** Thomaz, and ****** Instead of fixing my problem, they filed the Lean on my property and threatened me. They did NOT do a good job on my staircase replacement either. My main reason for stair replacement is to avoid cracky sounds and ***** saw that and mentioned their installation will fix those. But the installer did not bother about anything and he just cut and placed the oak stair on the existing pine, he even ignored there was a broken pine tread underneath and installed a new oak tread on top of that. I had to remove the oak tread again and get the pine frame fixed a second time by paying additional money to the company.I lost my peace of mind by installing their product, everyday morning when I stepped on this floor, I felt like replacing it again. I hate this company, they did not do what they promised. They owe me an explanation and fix my issues. I am also spreading my bad experiences to my neighbors, and friends about this company.
