Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Were pleased to hear that our Service Professionals were punctual and courteous during their visit to your home.
Our Service Professionals are trained to thoroughly review electrical systems to ensure they meet current safety standards and electrical code.
During their visit, they identified some areas in your electrical panel that could benefit from a panel tune-up. The tune-up they recommended included general panel maintenance and housekeeping, removing double taps in the panel, separating grounds and neutrals, and ensuring the safety of your panel by clearing dust, removing any pests, and sealing any openings that could allow pests to enter.
Additionally, they recommended bringing your grounding system up to code by ensuring proper grounding with two ground rods. A well-grounded electrical system is crucial for protecting your home from electrical faults, reducing the risk of electrical shock, and ensuring that any excess electricity is safely directed away from your home.
Our Service Professionals also suggested installing whole home surge protection. This added protection helps safeguard your homes electrical appliances and systems from power surges, which can be caused by lightning strikes, power outages, or fluctuations in the electrical grid. By installing whole home surge protection, you can extend the lifespan of your appliances and protect sensitive electronics from potential damage.
These recommendations were made to enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of your electrical system. While your current setup was not deemed inherently dangerous at the time of the visit, these upgrades are designed to provide you with additional peace of mind and long-term protection.
