Never in my life have I been treated so badly by another human in the service industry. I was yelled at for being 4 minutes late for my appointment. Though my car had been at the shop for 2 hours without a single thing done to it and no phone call to inform me. When I dropped my car off I made sure it would be done before I needed to return and pick my son up from school. The time was cut very close and I was nervous I would not be on time. Again, with no notice to me. Thank goodness a friend dropped me back off at the shop. The man servicing my car called me a b**** when I declined further service on my car due to the poor quality of service I had been given thus far. In the end I still insisted on paying for the service because I dont take hand outs from cruel people.I would seriously consider taking your car elsewhere for service. If not for the poor quality service then just for the fact that you dont treat another person that way, especially a patron. Not even sure how I wrote this review considering that whole interaction truly left me speechless. Surf city tire does not value customer service or empathy what so ever. Shame on them.Review from William J

My car was towed by this company due to an incident. The Pender County Sheriff called them to tow it back to Burgaw from Hampstead area. They are 1 of 3 tow companies the Pender County Sheriff Dept. uses, So I called them to get a copy of the bill emailed to me , so I can go around and ask for help , since I am a disabled Vet, He said he would, Then I asked again and said no, I had to come down. So I had to pay someone from Jacksonville (which took money from my savings for truck which I told him). When got there I saw he charged extra money for " Pender County Tow service" I questioned him over and over and asked for a contract to show me> None was produced and he said he was a real Close friend to Alan (the Sheriff) which is fraud and a kick back.. Sorry I can't download a copy of receipt to show

Mr. J. is not a customer of ours. We were dispatched by the Pender County Sheriff's Department at 2:30am for a stolen vehicle. Mr. J. had loaned his car to a female acquaintance, and she did not return the vehicle. He reported it stolen. According to the Sheriff's Department this was not the first time this has happened to Mr. J. When we arrived on scene the Sheriff's department advised us to tow the vehicle to the impound lot which is 30 miles from the scene. We followed all guidelines set by the Pender County Sheriff's department and the NC Highway patrol. We tried to work with Mr. J. with the bill even giving him a discount.
As far as the comments in reference to fraud, these are highly slanderous statements and serious allegations. Mr. J. tried to serve our company fraudulent court documents and was stopped by the Sheriff's Department. When asked to leave the property Mr. J. refused and was then arrested. When the officer attempted to arrest Mr. Jenkins, he resisted arrest. He was then booked at the Pender County jail. After getting out of jail he returned to the shop and paid his bill while being escorted by a Pender County Deputy. He was then able to get his vehicle out of impound.
We would appreciate the removal of this review do to its slanderous nature.
