      If I could give negative stars for my review I would. I regret ever doing business with Smart Chevrolet. I purchased a 2020 vehicle with 34, 000 miles on it. They were 2 hours away, drove to pickup vehicle, did a quick test drive, and inspection and upon first glance all looked good. When I was almost to my home a caution/warning light came on saying brake pads worn, drive with caution. There was also a PSI light for front driver tires pressure being low. I was not comfortable with how the brakes felt on drive home, which was mainly highway. I called my salesman when I got home and said there was an issue with brakes and the warning lights were on. He said to bring back and they would take a look. Drive back, they checked and said nothing wrong with them, they think it’s just a sensor. Waste of time. They would call me when sensor in. When I got home my husband said the tires were all bad and needed to be replaced as well. For the next week while waiting for sensor, I had to add air daily to the tire. When I stopped at a local garage for air I asked for them to check all tires. Told me all 4 tires were damaged and splitting and that both front/back brakes needed replacing. 1mm pad left on back. Basically none. Called sales manager and they said they would never let a vehicle go out like that. They are a top notch service center. Said all passed NC safety inspection. I was told not safe to drive with the condition of tires/brakes. When I sent the inspection report from my garage to Smart they said they wanted to help and would give me the parts at their cost to save me a LOT of money. They backed their service dept. And would not take accountability for selling a vehicle without doing the basic inspections. They are negligent and didn’t care they sent me home with an unsafe vehicle (2 times). I have had to put $2000 for 4 new tires and both front/back brakes and rotars, all less than 2 weeks owning vehicle!! Stay clear of this dealership.

      They sold a vehicle without the gas cap, empty tank, never sent the carfax, vehicle never inspected. Terrible service

      Bought a 2019 f250 not even 2 weeks into owning it screen took a crap called them to take care of it still no returned call from sales manager or salesman seems like normal practice at this dump stay away cost me $900 out of pocket

      If there was a lower score than 1 star that is what I would give. This is the most unprofessional, and dishonest Dealership that I have ever dealt with. Communicated with them about a 2016 Chevrolet 3500 dump truck. for about 3 weeks. Finally got the price down to a reasonable offer. We agreed on the price and setup a day for us to come and pick up the truck. Talked with Ike and Carl regarding the vehicle multiple times before driving 4 hours. Matter a fact Ike called me while I was driving to the dealership from South Carolina to make sure we were still coming. I informed him that we were currently on the road and would arrive at the dealership around lunch time with check in hand for the purchase price of the truck. He told me that he had the keys and would have the paperwork ready when we arrived. 15 mins before arriving at the dealership Ike calls back and informs me that another customer has come in and is looking at the truck and may purchase the truck. I informed him how close we were to the dealership and he tells me he can't hold the vehicle. We arrive at the dealership and another customer is looking at the vehicle. Ike comes in doesn't introduce himself or even say hello, walks into his office and begins paperwork on the truck. We asked if the customer was purchasing the truck, customer says he was looking to. 5 mins later, we asked Ike if he was, and customer said yes. This was very disrespectful and unprofessional. We had a deal, and drove 4 hours there to pick up the truck. 8 hours round trip to come home empty handed. This truck was being purchased to use at a non-profit Children's Ministry. They lie at Smart Chevrolet!!! Don't care anything about the customers. Ike and Carl should be terminated for how we were treated. I will also be contacting GM Corporate Office about this. Probably won't do any good but at least they'll know. I will also be making a report to the Better Business Bureau about this incident.
