    Three years ago I leased a 2022 Elantra Hybrid from Keffer Hyundai. Overall, I have been pleased with the car, especially the great gas mileage since I commute. Yesterday, I went into the dealership to discuss my end-of-lease options. I really wanted to lease another vehicle or upgrade to a **************** but I had the WORST customer service experience EVER. I am absolutely aghast at the treatment I received.First, the salesman flat out tried to convince me that I had to pay for my extra mileage if I wanted to buyout the car. He told me that I had to pay 75 cents a mile (LIE, it's 25 cents) and that $10,500 would be tacked on to the car's value, so I would basically have to pay the original MSRP of the car. Finally, the salesman conceded that it wasn't true right after he spoke with his supervisor. Although this was an unsettling situation, I tried to brush it off that the salesman was inexperienced or misinformed on leasing practices.I decided to go ahead with the buyout of the car at the dealership, but then the finance representative came back with an APR of over 8% which is high for a used car and my excellent credit score. I balked at the payment, and told him that I was going to shop around for a better rate. He then proceeded to look me in the eye and lie straight to my face and told me that I HAD to use Hyundai Finance since that was who my lease was through and after a month I could refinance with someone else. At this point, I got up and walked out of the dealership.I was so upset by this treatment which felt very much like a shake down at every turn. I filed a complaint with Hyundai corporate and sent an email to the general manager of the dealership.
