I purchased a car from them around 4 years ago with the extra warranty. The car was taken for regular maintenance and was running fine until it wasnt. As I was driving one day the check engine light started flashing, I immediately pulled over to a local auto parts shop and had a mobile mechanic diagnose the problem. It was giving out the P1326 code which is for the knock sensor. I had it towed to the Kia ********** down the street from my house in *********. They ran updates and gave it back to me. A week later the light came back on so I had it towed back. What I didnt know was there was additional damage done to my engine after being told it was ok. Now it has a burnt valve and *** refuses to replace the engine as its no longer only giving the 1326 code. The cost of the repair is a little less than what I owe on the car itself!! Shame on you *********** How many have to suffer before you value your customers safety and well being? I dont even want money just do the right thing and fix the carReview from Michael H

terrible company. way too many negative reviews to be in operation. i come back after a year of my experience with them for the bad reviews to keep pouring in. if you take reviews with a grain of salt. you better raise your blood pressure when it comes to Keffer KIA !Review from Doreen S

I sold them a car and they wouldn't give me the ball portion of my hitch. The sales manager, ******, lied about "it was stolen last night on the lot" even though last night I couldn't pick it up because "the finance manager drove it home!" If they'll lie about something as simple as that they will surely lie to you during your sale and financing! Buyer Beware!!!!Review from Alissa W

My *** ******* bought it 1 year ago. In the past month I have had 3 situations that *** has basically laughed at. 1st situation, I'm going **************************************************************************** to death. I take it to the ********** and the Head Mechanic actually tells me that this can happen because a new street sign may have been put up and the sensor picked up on it. Next go around beautiful sunny 90 degree day, sun is shining there has been no rain, no wet road's. This time the car is completely out of control and the slippery road dummy light comes on, 3rd go around, July 4th weekend my husband and I are coming home from 6 hours away and my all wheel drive light comes on, my husband grabs the owners manual and it states if this happen's take the *** ****** to your closest *** ********** immediately. Ok it's Sunday, a Holiday weekend and I am 6 hour's from home. I drive home with the light on and no known issue's. Get up Monday morning and take it straight to the ********** in Mooresville **** A couple of month's before this happened I had a flat tire and had a new one put on. Now I am at the ********** and after keeping my vehicle for 3 day's and me paying for a rental, *** calls and tells me to come pick it up, I get there and once again I end up with the head Mechanic telling me that because I put a new tire on it that this was the cause, I should have replaced all 4 tires? Because now the tread and depth aren't equal all the way around. (FUNNY I DID'T GET 4 SPARES IN THE ***** WHEN I BOUGHT IT, I ONLY GOT ONE) Are you absolutely stupid? How did this guy ever make it to a mechanic position? In the 3 day's they had my *** they literally drove it 1 mile. I still have a 5 year ****** warranty, This was the only road trip it's ever been on, less than ****** miles on it in over a year. Not to mention now the seat warmer rod's you can feel coming through the seat's. And it's not like I'm a big girl weighing less than 130 pounds.Review from Victoria B

**UPDATE** Keffer Kia. I came in to buy a car about 3 weeks ago. I had a different car that had unrelated issues, so it needed replacing. I barely got approved with only 500 down (through a finance company) but they did get me a nice car. Unfortunately, it overheated 15 days after it left the lot and when I brought it in, it took about a week to find out the warranty wasn't going to cover the repairs. A little after a week, the ** contacted me with news that they would be able to repair my car at no cost and that I would be on the road in no time. The warranty is standard for a used car, but the quick, personal resolution to my issue was very special and appreciated. Somehow, the ** and other managers were able to take a huge problem and make it go away for my sake. I will come back for any service I need from here on out.Review from Mahidhar chowdhary s

Cheap tricks to get you over to the showroom. They called me and said they have about 50 vehicles coming in, they have targets to reach. So there is a month end sale program and a code to enter the program.It's just a made up story. I went there, 26 miles in uber. There was no such event. Salesman said they have the only car on east coast. And someone ready to fly from ******* to get it. And the prices quoted are ridiculously high. The prices are upto them or based on market. Not offended by that but cheap marketing to get you there is pathetic.Review from Mohammad M

I had a great experience with these people loved the way they welcomed me and got my issues resolved and I like my new ride it's wonderful the salesman was very polite and the managers were amazing I would recommend people to go there and get yourself a great deal with the nicest people. Purchased a vehicle from Keffer Kia late April, some issues were going on with my vehicle. Ended up speaking with the main manager in sales and he was very helpful and listened to me vent for a little while. He then helped me get them resolved instead of blowing me off. I'm not much into car dealers but would highly recommend Keffer Kia, and if every need anything **** the manager can help you.Review from Barbara S.

Purchased a 2020 soul in Jan 2022, back tail light was busted, only had 1 key, and seat was ripped. Was told by sales person that they could make second key, and fix busted tail light. Even recover seat. When time came to make key I was supposed to pay for it, which I refused, so guessing I have to pay for busted tail light too having heard anything from them and it's been 4 months.Review from Shanette S.

They sold me a 2018 ***** Civic on March 25 2022. Today is April 26 2022. When I drove the car off the lot the parking brake light and the brake system light came on. I took the car back to the dealership they told it was because I hit the parking brake light, but you have to pull the park brake not push it so that was a lie. Then I drove the car for 3 days the check engine light came on. They told me it was because a plastic bag was under the car, and it made the light come on. So the check engine light went off until 2 days later all of the warning lights came on. They told me to take it to *****. I have taken the car to ***** 3 times to be fixed and I am still having the same problem. Now they are telling me that I need to make another down payment and have a co-signer to get put into another vehicle. I have only had this car for 30 days and have taken it to be serviced 5 times! Also they did not give me the car fax to this vehicle and I had to learn from ***** that the car had been wrecked in the front. The new car manager Rob was very rude to me and disrespectful. He kept cutting me off every time I talked and yelled that my credit was not his problem in front of everyone and threatened to call the police on me. Stay far away from this place. Updated review on May 11, 2022: Keffer Kia sent my car to ************************************** in *********. They had my car about 2 weeks, and I was called to pick it up on Monday, May 9, 2022. Here it is May 11, 2022 and I am having the same issues as stated before. With all of my warning lights coming on. I took my vehicle back to Keffer Kia today and wanted to speak to the general manager. But instead of talking to me, the general manager ***** sends someone else to talk to me as he goes out the side door. Then I ask for the car fax, because I have asked for them several times and never review them. I was told they were unable to give me the car fax because the car was "off-line" and the general manager ***** (the one that conveniently left when I asked to speak with him) was the only one who could access it. They advised me to drive back up to the Kia ********** tomorrow (mind you, I stay in ***********) to get the car fax that I was supposed to have gotten the day I purchased the vehicle. I don't understand why it is so hard for me to get the car fax to my vehicle. I ended up just spending the ***** to get my own car fax that I should have gotten free at the time I purchased the vehicle. When I asked the new car manager Rob for the corporate number he told me "I don't have the corporate number. Why don't you do whatever you did the last time, because that got my boss' boss attention. That seemed to work for you. So you should go and do that." Which once again was very rude. I have been dealing with this same problem with Keffer Kia for 6 weeks with no resolution. My vehicle is still not fixed and I'm still getting bad customer service.
