            I signed a contract and paid $8606.87 (and $1000 for deposit) for a new roof on my house. The money was paid on March 25th. The work has not been started and the business owner refuses to respond to any communication, i.e. email, text, phone call.

            ******* ***** robbed us of our time and thousands of dollars. We contracted with him November 2021 and paid an initial deposit along with material cost for a custom door. For months he lied about delivery delays from the supplier. He finally disclosed the name of the supplier in passing during a communication we had in early April. We waited until end of April for an update on the door and again he ignored us after we pressed him for the purchase order as proof that he had actually ordered. After researching the supplier I reached out to all 10 locations within a 100 mile radius where all but 1 location pulled up his accounts with them. They confirmed he never ordered our door, and in fact they never even quoted him for such an item. When we confronted him with this information is the only time he finally admitted his theft. He let us know about business issues so we worked out a payment plan with him with a promissory contract and notary. He agreed to the payment plan but has not made his payments in weeks. So here's another lawsuit on top of his existing pile. He is also operating under the company Smooth RSR/ ****** ******* ***** * ********** LLC
