Didn't fix our roof to what was told to us and when it leaked we discovered they failed to install flashing on first story but did on second story and will not stand by their work and refused to fix it. I don't recommend at all they do not stand by their work.

The flashing he is referring to is suppose to be installed behind the siding and flashes out on top of the shingles to deflect water from going in. When we were installing his roof, he had one area where the siding was removed and we were able to install the flashing. He also had another area on a lower roof that attaches to a side wall that did not have the siding removed. It would have been the responsibility of the siding installers that he hired to removed that siding and flash that area! We informed him of this over a year ago when we did this project. We had originally bid doing the siding for this insurance project but were rejected for a cheap option he had found. If we would have done both the siding and the roof for this customer, we would have been responsible for his flashing at the area he is complaining about. As for his comment that we do not stand behind our work, we have 1000's of customers that would disagree with that comment. He also sent us a text and we have his and our comments on September 24th of this year. We have pictures to back up our position on this. The only company at fault for his situation in his siding company. It's funny that we have social media outlets with over 60 five star ratings praising our family business. It seems this BBB review system only attracts negative reviews from unwarranted complainants. We shall now seek justice in this matter to get this bogus comment removed. The public posting of unjustified comments like this can make or break a family business. Our workers work very hard and are very knowledgeable and caring. They take pride in each and every project they do. It's very frustrating to have them slandered in this way. Our only recourse is to defend ourselves. He is only trying to get money from us for an issue that he knows is not our fault and in fact is the fault of his siding company (if he hired one, he may have done the siding himself we do not know.).
