Terrible, puppy mill. Brian and Kristin gave me a sick puppy who died within 6 days of having her they left me with $1,500 in vet bills and refuse to pay them even though I took her to the vet within the 72 hr window as stated in the contract. I sent them videos of the puppy sick and all they said was "keep us posted", which I did. They expected me to bring a sick puppy back to them, but I refused since they gave her to me sick. They should have treated the 9 week old puppy prior to giving her to me. Also when picking her up I asked if she was up to date on all shots Kristin said "no she is due for her next shots" Stated in the agreement she would be up to date on all shots. They delete real reviews that don't support their business. The day I went to pick up my puppy she didn't want us out of the truck, there were no other dogs around, and refused to show us the other dogs. When asking about the parents it took her a couple days to provide a picture and one of the dogs was in rough shape dirty and matted. Please get a puppy somehwere else!

As we stated before, we are truly sorry that Clover got sick.

Per your reviews, which you have changed multiple times, you watched a pup get so bad that she couldn't stand up and you let her progress to such a state of pneumonia before going back to the vet. That's neglect. Pneumonia so bad that it lead to death. Why didn't you take Clover back to the vet, when you said yourself, that the medicine wasn't working. Why didn't you find another vet? Why didn't you fight for your puppy's health and life?

Clover, the puppy, was healthy when she left our property, and we also have lengthy videos of Clover just before you arrived with no cough. Kennel cough is VERY contagious, and no other puppies on our property had it. We also had other pups leave us that same morning and they all checked out with their vets with no kennel cough.

We advise every family who leaves with a puppy to be very careful as it's like caring for a newborn - don't go to dog parks until they are older, avoid rest areas, be careful traveling as they can pick up diseases very easily at rest stops. Did you stop and let Clover out on your way back to Des Moines?

We advise all of our new puppy parents to have a vet appointment scheduled right after leaving us - and to notify us of any issues right away. We were not notified about a cough until two days after Clover left - why would someone wait this long to get treatment for a puppy? That's neglect. We would never tell a puppy family to NOT go to the vet. When the invoice was sent to us we told you the treatment seemed off but we aren't vets.

We have our dog parents come outside to meet families all the time if available and asked. You didn't ask to see the parents. We do not just have dogs or pups out because not everyone that comes here is dog friendly and people have been known to drive in our driveway very fast and have come close to hitting our kids, dogs and even their own puppy.

Our dogs and pups are raised with care and their health and well being is top priority for us.

Even after the negative reviews you and your friend have left, and us knowing that Clover was healthy when she left our place and having proof - you both forgot to mention that we did process a complete refund of the purchase price, even though the contract was broken by you.

Again, we are truly sorry about this incident and don't wish this upon any new puppy family. We are devastated for sweet Clover

We actually had an appointment scheduled for Clover, but it got canceled due to staffing issue by the vet so it got pushed an extra day for the first visit which was the day after we got her. Unfortunately we had to take her to the ER which shouldn't be the case when getting a new puppy. I've had multiple dogs in my life between growing up and currently. I would NEVER neglect a dog, but the fact you don't take ownership in giving a sick dog is terrible. I as well would NEVER give back a sick dog considering we got her sick. Which means she was being neglected in your care. We took her to the vet 3 times in the 1 week we had her (should never be the case when getting a new puppy)

I did asked to see the parents and where the other pups were. I never got a response other then Kristin changing the subject to my current dogs and the dog in the vehicle which was odd. When I asked if she was UTD on shots I was told no. If she was UTD this kennel cough could have been avoided thankfully my other two dogs didn't get sick.

Blocking me from social media will not help nor will deleting all reviews that people leave. The business is sketchy and the dogs are over priced.

We did get refunded the price of the puppy after we were offered 3 choices. 1. New puppy 2. Pay the vet bills up to $100 3. Refund puppy price. In my opinion that wasn't even appropriate to say we wouldn't get anything other then $100 when the puppy was $3,000. Why would anyone want another sick dog if the first one was sick. I also had to call due to the business ignoring Facebook messages requesting the 3,000 dollars refunded.

I only hope the best for the current puppies and hope they get the care they need.

Carena, again there is no reason why Clover passed away but we are truly sorry it happened.

Clover had been given 2 rounds of bordetella - the kennel cough vaccine, meaning she was fully vaccinated, however dogs/pups can still get sick but not as bad. As you stated, your other dog was in the truck - it is well known and quoted by ********* 'A dog can carry kennel cough and show no symptoms at all yet still pass on the infectious organisms to other dogs.' Other sites and vets say the same thing. Your other dog could have unknowingly been the carrier.

As Kristin explained, the other vaccines are at your vets discretion as some vets say to vaccinate every 2 weeks and some say every 4 weeks. Clover was right at the 2 week mark which was perfect for getting on your vets vaccine schedule. The vaccine record was sent with you.

We know you have changed your review on Google many times. Also, your story keeps evolving. We have all the communication from you dated and time stamped. The refund was processed within 24 hours (actually less) of us being notified, which was also not a business day. As we told you, we were traveling which caused the delay. We didn't even require necropsy proof.

We understand you are still upset and so are we but we wish you the best of luck with any future animals you may have.
