              1.Date of Service: June 2, 2024 2. Paid: Total: $2,834.04, Paid for parts that weren't needed: $1,809.43 3. Auto Care Plus claims the they're members of BBB, it's on their letterhead 5. They couldn't fix my car 6.They charged me for parts and labor that wasn't needed 7. They advertise they're a BBB member and they might not be a BBB member I took my ******** which was losing power and couldn't drive it so I took it to the closest foreign car repair and that was Auto Care Plus, ***************. First it took them about a week to look at the problem and they said it was a coil, so they replaced it. Then I called and they said it is for sure the main computer (ECU) and it was about a $1,300.00 part. About 1 month has gone by with so many excuses. I discussed this with the mechanic and the regional manager, which was extremely rude to me. I asked the mechanic is this the part that will fix my car and he said YES. I didn't have much trust in them at this point so I had my ******** towed to the **********, ** ******** dealership and they fixed it in 1 week approximately and my car didn't need the **** $1,333.00 part and it just needed 5 coils and not the aftermarket coil which Auto Care Plus charged me for 2 coils (after market part) $476.10. Also, when I was trying to get answers from Auto Care Plus, they told me that they couldn't wait to get my car out of their garage!! I lost a lot of money and time to get my car fixed by Auto Care Plus didn't know how to fix it and they charged me for all the labor not knowing what was wrong, they just replaced parts because they think that was the solution and it wasn't, it was on my dime not theirs. I want to people to know that this business is not reputable and by right Auto Care Plus should reimburse me for some of the labor and the two parts that I mentioned above, because that wouldn't have resolved the problem with my car. I also wrote to the owner and he never wrote me back. It was terrible experience.

              I was a loyal customer to this place since 2014, its really sad to see how bad this place has gone in just a short few years. Back when **** was manager, he took care of his customers. Unfortunately it doesnt seem as if this company cares about the customers over the $$ these days. As time goes on it seems as if they take their sweet time to do literally anything. They also like to say some things need to be done when they were JUST done or dont need it. Like I said, this is very unfortunate because this company used to be wonderful. After my boyfriends appointment today for inspection. I dont think I would be returning to this establishment again. I understand they just got slammed for faulty inspections in the past His vehicle failed due to a small rust spot under the size of a quarter. He fixed it and brought it back in to re-inspect it just to tell him he needs new wipers now and a light replacement on an aftermarket grill. They never mentioned that when telling him the only thing needed was the rust spot being fixed. All the receptionist said was oh our mechanics are diligent in their work so it must of failed some point from last inspection until now. Its been driven under 20 miles and kept in the garage and fixed in that same garage since then, so Im not sure how the wipers NOW needed fixing. The car is finally inspected but it took them a total of 7 hours to finish inspecting the vehicle. ******** down the road is a bit more pricy but I promise you will get better service there now unfortunately.

              *****, we're sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory visit at our shop, this is now what our customers expect as you have pointed out. We're not sure why the wipers weren't mentioned on the initial inspection and apologize for that. As for the light, while it could have been working initially was not working when it was brought back in so it needed to be corrected. Aftermarket or not, if there is a light on the vehicle it must work per state guidelines. Lights can fail at any time, usually without warning. Ultimately our job is to make sure your vehicle is safe for you to operate and for everyone else on the road. The car was in a month earlier and had 70, not 20 miles on it since being inspected, not that much of a difference but just want to be accurate here. We have not "got slammed for faulty inspections" recently and are not sure where you got that information but it is in fact not true. Actually we have been asked many times by the state, along with state inspection officials, to assist in reinspecting vehicles that customers from other shops have filed complaints with. We will do better to serve our customers in a timely manner and apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback as it only helps improve our service to our customers and have addressed this with our staff.
