I rarely leave reviews, but the lack of service, lies + horrible disposition of the owner, ****, is so egregious and unprofessional that I must warn others to stay away from this company. The owner knew my situation (single woman just moved to Bergen, and yes ignorant to landscaping) and TOOK ADVANTAGE of me. **** intentionally and grossly overcharged and billed for services that were not needed - but most disappointing was the thing I specifically asked for (tree removal) was ignored and never done.In all my years, **** is hands down the most unprofessional, unethical, rude, and dishonest businessman I've had the displeasure of working with. Homeowners looking for landscape services beware of this company.

I believe that **************** has placed this review purposefully to harm my reputation and that of my company. Her anger is misplaced on my company and myself. After multiple attempts to collect money owed to my company, which included giving additional time to pay the debt and also my wiliness to discuss paying the debt, which went unanswered. I was forced to file a small claims case, on January 25, 2022, with *************** as the defendant because my company worked for her in the month of August 2021. She did not fully pay her ****. *************************************** was due to be heard on April 8, 2022 at 9am. She called on April 6th to make payment in an effort to avoid the court appearance. I kept my end of the conversation civil and business like. However, she was very loud and irate and told me you are an awful awful man and I hope you die an awful death, and hung up the phone. Shortly thereafter we received a Zelle payment in the full amount owed. If the false and derogatory claims against me and my company were as she claims, she could have appeared and told them to the judge hearing the case. With regard to the comments by ****************, they are just not true. While I respect everyones right to free speech, it is **************** that is not telling the truth here. I never lied or took advantage of **************** or any other client in my 41 years of owning my company. With regard to being a single woman and/or a new home owner, that has absolutely nothing to do with the cost of running a business and providing business services to a client. *************** received a free estimate. I spent over an hour walking the property and discussing the property. This included discussion about things that I had noticed that required attention and also her thoughts as to how she viewed her use of the new home. After walking the property, we sat together, and I gave her a written estimate. She had some good questions which I answered thoroughly. She decided to hire us at which time she received a written contract detailing the services that she had chosen and the prices associated with those services. So her comment **** intentionally and grossly overcharged and billed for services that were not needed is false and not true. All services performed on her property were listed and performed on as per the contract. We performed our services during the month of August. We invoice net 30 days so at the end of August **************** received an invoice for the work that was completed in August. Upon receiving her first invoice she immediately sent back an email Effective immediately, please cancel my contract. In an effort to understand what was going on, I placed two phone calls and left two voice messages, which were not returned. Then the follow up email below was sent:Hi ***,**** left you 2 voice mails. One last evening and one just now. regarding you wanting to cancel. He does not think that that is in your best interest, however, if you do wish to cancel, the process is laid out in #5 on page 2 of your agreement. With that said, your second mosquito control treatment was scheduled for today so we are going to need to know if you are going to continue service.Just in case you are not getting the voice mails, the email that you sent on Sunday, we are not open on Sunday, he responded to Monday evening, which was the soonest he was able. So he is confused by you wanting to cancel. With regard to the invoicing, our invoices always go out at the end of the month. With respect to the tree, **************** did go over that with me she said she didnt like the leaves going into her build in pool and that she was having a party on September 11th and wanted to have the tree removed prior to that date. I agreed to have the tree and ***** gone before the September 11th party. That work was scheduled to be performed on September 3rd however she cancelled the agreement on August 30th. Therefore, without an agreement in place, I was prohibited from performing the tree removal. Despite her behavior towards me and this negative review, I am extremely sorry that she feels the way she does. She settled her debt and I have no ill will towards her whatsoever. My company worked very hard for her in the short time that she was on board as our client. Based on her review, I felt I had no choice but to explain to people that would read this review, a ****** picture so they could make an informed decision.
