I couldnt be more unhappy with my experience with Ashley Furniture ***** Services. The couch I ordered was damaged on delivery, and when I told the delivery driver before he left he said he is just the delivery person and that I will have to contact the store. The store then told me the delivery driver should have taken the couch that day. Their recommendation for resolving the issue was to send me materials and have someone come to repair the damage in my apartment. I told the woman I spoke to repeatedly that I do not want the couch to be repaired as I have serious concerns about the quality of the fabric, and that I would like to return it. I have not heard back from anyone, so I followed up last week and was told someone will contact me via email. Another week has gone by and I have not received anything, so I called back again today. I am now being told the material has already been shipped and cannot be cancelled, and so now I have to refuse the package when it comes. Finally after voicing my concerns repeatedly, ***** Services told me to call the store I bought the couch from. When I called the store, I was told the manager left unexpectedly 2 days ago and they do not have one. Even if they did, they would refer me back to ***** Services. Its been almost a full month since the couch was delivered and I am getting nowhere! Absolutely awful company, do not buy any furniture from Ashley Furniture unless you have the time to chase people around and waste your time making phone calls to resolve the issues they are responsible for!!!
