    My complaint is how owner ***** of I'm The Blind Lady. LLC handles complaints, including in my case her technician who removed two of my window venetian blinds from two rooms to install ones I ordered from the company, without asking about where to put them or what I wanted him to do with them, and taking them without saying anything to me before doing so. I intended to keep my venetian blinds because they were in excellent condition and I had plans for them. When I realized the next morning that the technician had taken them out of my house in the company van without my knowledge, I called the business immediately and spoke to owner ***** who then spoke to the technician, who lied about having asked me about the blinds and saying that I instructed him to take them away. Absolutely not.He did not ask me anything, and I was not even in the same rooms (two of them) when he removed them and allegedly I had told him to take them. ***** simply gave me a speech about how wonderful her employees are including the offending one, apparently believing him.The removed blinds are my property, and I asked that they be returned.Sorry, said *****, they have been picked up by trash collectors.The technician got away with a lie. I do not know, and actually neither does *****, where they actually went. And no, nothing in the way of an apology or attempt to provide a reasonable accommodation. The installation of the Blind Lady treatments were also not stress-free as initial installations were not what I had ordered (room darkening blinds were installed which made the rooms seem like nighttime), and I had to argue with ***** to get the correct ones installed after a lengthy wait time and more charges.The final installation was with the blinds I preferred and had ordered, but the process was not smooth or enjoyable.If I had to do it again, I would definitely not do business with I'm The Blind Lady, an unreasonable owner and her dishonest technician.**************

    Hello *****, hope you are well. We installed your shades Monday morning. You called our showroom Wednesday afternoon to speak with me regarding your old shades that were removed to install the new shades. You mentioned the reason for your call to our associate and she informed me of your concerns, so I reached out to the installer prior to returning your call. The installer assured me he followed proper protocol as he was trained to do, ie., he asked you what you wanted to do with the shades he was removing, nd you instructed him to dispose of them. He then took them down and placed them in his company van to place in the trash container at our place of business, as he was trained. I commented to him that his recall was very precise, he remarked that it was the first time he had been accused of theft so he would most likely not easily forget the experience. He then said the item you accused him of stealing was located at your home before he left. He was stunned.I then returned your call. You stated you had not authorized the removal of the shades that we were replacing and that you wanted your property returned. I explained to you that I had reached out to our installer prior to returning your call and that he had assured me he asked your preference as to the shades he took down as is protocol, and you instructed him to dispose of them and he did so Monday evening upon returning to our location. The trash bin was emptied Tuesday morning by the City, so your old blinds are not retrievable. You stated our installer was "a liar", then berated me for believing my employee rather than you. Although in your statement above you make another accusation that our installer is making personal use of your old shades, I can assure you that none of us has need for old blinds. Interestingly, you never brought up your accusation of his theft, and although you knew it was false you made no apology when I asked you about it. As for your original order, it was exactly what you ordered but you did not like it following installation. We immediately accommodated your request for changes to the product as well as upgrades in lift systems that increased the end cost to you.
