I wish there was a minus stars choice.About a year ago I took my late fathers ***** Novelty Pocket Slot machine to this place to have it gone through, cleaned up, the reels redone, and some parts reinstalled (they were all there in a small bag) (and none were broken). Over the course of a year I had called the owner, *************************** a number of times to find out the progress of the work. This person never once answered his phone. It always went to voice mail. And getting a call back with anything resembling the truth never happened. When I did get a call back days, weeks later it was always with excuses and lies about the progress of the work. He told me that he was having problems finding "parts" for the machine. All the parts were already there. Another time he told me that there were no manuals for these machines. I have found several available on the internet since being informed of that lie. And why not just tell me the job was more than he was prepared to take on. No shame in that. When it came to painting the casing (exterior) of the machine, the paint was coming off before I got it home. All in all I would NEVER EVER recommend or trust this company with anything! I was charged $880.00 for 11 hours of work (that took a year to do) that consisted of (from the invoice)" 1 Put 1 **** ***** Vest Pocket 5 cent antique stimulator back together from PARTS IN BOX. Completely oil all moving parts. Also painted medal cabinet of **** ***** Vest Pocket ***** no charge for paint"The reels were not redone. The inside was not cleaned. It was oiled to the point where the oil leaked out the edges. Parts were put back together but now the coins do not fall into the catch can, they fall all over the inside of the casing.When I asked ***** for a refund, he refused and asked me what's wrong with it.
