We hired Capital Home Improvement August 3. We gave a small deposit. We hired them to replace the roof, put on new gutters, take out a concrete slab, take out 2 sidewalks and replace one, build a porch, put siding on the house and insulate it, replace 9 windows, waterproof the basement, replace our garage door and opener, replace the garage floor and insulate the attic. They came and replaced the roof. Since then, they have come very inconsistently. They have started several jobs and made a mess of our house and yard. I was pushed to give him money many times for supplies. I was asked to get a bank check or cash and he even asked to go to the bank with me once. We have never done home improvements and did not realize some of this was not typical. We did think asking to go to the bank was very odd. I have been told multiple times the siding will be done " A lot is going to be done this week you are going to be happy." Then nothing was done. Currently, the only thing done is the roof and we aren't sure if it is done properly. We had a new contractor come to assess how much money it will cost to fix what they have done. He said it is all done wrong and needs to be done over. Seven out of nine windows are in but not put in correctly. It is getting cold outside, they are not sealed. The siding is cut poorly and not done. They started taking out the sidewalk and stopped. There is still sidewalk remaining. They refused to take out the concrete slab even though they said they could take it out when we signed the contract. They poured another slab over it. The basement was left a mess. The sump pump they installed is mangled and the top will not close and their supplies are all over our basement. We now get water in the basement because we have no gutters. They have left garbage all over our yard including alcohol containers. Paul the owner has not responded to any texts in a week. I have asked several times for a date things will be fixed and done and have been ignored.
