After speaking with Tom from Hanson he quoted me $15-20k over the phone to drill a well on my property in Mayfield, NY. I expressed to him this is only for a detached garage and it does not need to pull as clean water you would for a living home he had sent a represenitaive out a few days later. We were supposed to meet at 9am but around 10:30am he shows up with no call or message. Turns out this man is very pleasant and agrees to drill a well as soon as the upcoming Friday for $5-7k and I only need to be 100' and/or 10' below the existing water table. I agree and asked him to email a proposal over before we move forward. The following day I receive an email for $10,800.00 from Tom Hansen. Like anyone else would do I reach out to the man who came to my site and ask for reasoning the proposal state he would need to drill 350' and would cost double what he quoted me in person. Well his response was out of his hands and I was asked to go elsewhere they were to busy. Unfortunately, these Well company's have a bad reputation in the field for over drilling as they are billable causes in there in dusty. Being in business since 2005' I have never seen such a calamus, unprofessional company in my doings. At no point would I credit this company a good samaritan by any means. Price gauging is something that this industry should not commit too.
