I moved into this apartment July 2022, and it started ok. After a while I noticed how disgusting the building was that I live in compared to the other building (where the leasing office is). On Feb 28 I called the leasing office telling them that my toilet was leaking but it wasn't a serious plumbing issue. Something needed to be tightened that I didn't have tools for. I requested they wait until I'm present, but they insisted they come right away. When I returned home, I discovered that the maintenance men not only used my clean towels to clean up the water, but they also stole them. When I informed the manager ******, she was very rude and tried to convivence me that nothing was stolen. I asked her for her managers number, and she was very rude told me she couldn't.

my name is ********* ****. I lived at summit ridge with my roommate for 1yr. Got pregnant and had to look for a new place. I called the leasing office if they had any apartments available and they said yes, the apartments have 2 buildings , they had availability in the other building . I ask for a tour but they insisted I should come get the keys on Friday like within the 1st week of December 2021. Me and my boyfriend when that Friday signed the least and payed $900, got the keys and when to check the apartment, it was clean inside but the hallway was smelling of Cigarretes, dog pee, marijuana and they smell gets in my apartment . We complained about the smell and they told us they will clean the hallway but they did not, I called after some days and told them it still smells and I can not live there with the smell being I am pregnant. They still did not clean the hallway after 2 weeks, I did not spend a day or even slept a night in the apartment. I told them I cannot stay there and gave them the keys of the apartment. They refused to give us part of the money we payed and still put $850 on my boyfriend credit saying we are owning them . There is no where is the leasing agreement that says we have to pay that $850 and we should be able to get part of our money back . Below is the leasing agreement. Please kindly help me see into this issue . Thank you and bless you

I have had cold water for almost three weeks and have yet to see something be done about it. We pay for water at this apartment

      Business response

      09/26/2022

The water was not cold for three weeks.  We had a part that failed on our boiler system and the day that the part failed a vendor was called to address the issue.

The part was ordered and we had to wait for the part to come in and be repaired.  In the meantime, there are two boilers and the other was fully functional.

The only time the water was just warm and not hot was when we were assessing the problem and when we were repairing the problem because the water and the boiler had to be shut down completely.

I paid Summit Ridge February 1, 2022 $1700 on check number **********. This payment was posted on my ***** account March 28, 2022. The money is deposited into Summit Ridge, ******** account *********. Summit Ridge,******** Management sold the account to ******** ****** ******* in ******* ** The company did not forward over the payment of $1700. Summit Ridge and ******** refuse to check the ledgers for my payment. This has impacted my credit report. I am overbilled for this apartment. I cancelled the apartment the next day after signing the documents. The most I would pay is $1400. I am being billed $2526. I was told by ****** with ******** to send the payments to Summit Ridge.

I just moved in at these apartments, Summit Ridge, and after I signed the least they gave me an dirty apartment, I told the lady about it but she continues to tell me that there’s nothing she can do, basically saying she won’t do anything about it. Then after complaining for a month she told me that they had a house keeper that would would clean whatever needs cleaned from the previous people. I waited a week and Nobody showed up, even till this day and it’s been 2 months already. Not only that my sink has been leaking badly they came 1 time the day I moved in but that’s all. My AC doesn’t work so it gets extremely hot and humid inside my apartment. And my screens have holes in them in they don’t fit the windows so I had to use paper towels to fill in gaps cause I’ve been getting outside buds inside very badly but the lady won’t do anything about this apartment, the ceiling above the shower is caved in a little which is a safety problem cause what if it falls while I’m showering. The building I’m in is dirty and it stinks, they let their dogs poop and pee out in the halls instead of outside, I told the lady about that and again did nothing about it.
