As a follow up to my previous complaint, this business also goes by: 1.) **** ***** 2.)******** ******** *** ************ 3.)*** ******* 4.)******* Field Services LLC This will go to court without prompt response from Mr. B****. It also appears his business license under ******** ******** *** ************ is inactive.
Project was to replace deck flooring and railings to an existing deck. The project began 6/29/23 and has been ongoing as of this date, 9/5/23. What was to take "a weekend" is now going into month #3 due to no call/no shows and various excuses; lack of communication as to if and when **** ***** was to show up; no return phone calls or texts; blatant carelessness when buying stain that didn't match what I requested; having what he admitted was a drug addict show up (alone), spending four hours doing a poor job of nailing one small board! In addition, the unfinished "workmanship" is horrible and not even up to code-as per a professional opinion. He even used a tire jack to support a middle board and left it there!! (I have approx. five dozen images.) He complained I hadn't given him a deposit for lumber--which he never asked for initially, and no one does this, but I paid $1500 by check, which he admits he prefers cash so he doesn'thave to pay taxes on it. He wanted another payment (before even completing the job), and I paid another $1500, (which I should not have done). Total job quote was originally $4,000, but due to lack of attention to detail he wants to charge me an additional $500! Last time I heard from him was 8/30/23 when he showed up with what was clearly NOT the correct stain color. After about 20 minutes he left, saying he'd be back. I called him twice that day, no answer. I sent a text, and was answered with "I'm at football practice and I'll call you back shortly." He never did and here we are. I expect a full refund, plus $1,000 for demolition and redo.
