I wanted to get some work done and was extremely disappointed with the complete lack of communication. First time I wanted to get some work done (cause I wanted to support the place) the mechanic never showed up to work that day, even though I was told by the mechanic to be there at a certain time and I would be able to pick it up later that day. He never even showed up for work that day. I didn't get it till the next day. A discount on work should have been offered, it wasn't. A few weeks later I needed some more work done and I again wanted to support the place. I was told by the mechanic the time to bring it in and when to pick it up. AND again he never showed up for work that day. Even though he knew I dropped my car off at the specified time and that I could pick it up later that day. I called, texted left messages and never got any response back as updates on the progress. I work for my self and am loosing work and money while my car is being serviced. I was assured it would be repaired that day. I also said I didn't want my car parked outside over night due to possible vandalism. I finally got a text from the mechanic saying he never made it to work due to car troubles. Really? Your a mechanic! And you couldn't take an uber to take care of business? To keep your obligations? I was told I could come get it and take it somewhere else if I wanted or he would be in later that morning. I texted how long would it take? I got no response. I ask when will someone be there so I can pick it up? I got no response. I finally called and he picked up and said they open 9am. I did ask about a discount as this is the second time you have not kept your word about when the car would be fixed? I was told NO DISCOUNT! It's the same amount of work. That was the last straw! Apparently the owner/mechanic has no concept of customer service or his customers time. My time has no more or less value than his and should be respected! I will never go back or refer Browns Tire!
