We bought our home February- March of 2023 and they did not fulfill there end of that contract to get our lawn properly graded and passed by the city until April - May 2024. Over a year of waiting. To give them credit that structure and foundation of the house is great. However, once we bought the house it seemed like they stopped caring and we ran into the following issues: 1.) Put in a driveway. They did but then they left a huge pile of gravel on our lawn and the people they hired to grade our lawn spread that across our front lawn. When we complained about it, they did nothing. 2.) They hired someone to build a new retaining wall, which is great, but these same people who they hired to grade our lawn damaged the wall. When we complained they did nothing. 3.) We had problems with some door frames and they sent someone to fix it and then repaint the trim. Someone came and fixed the frames, but they never came back and finished the painting. 4.) The painting was poorly done upstairs and even Frank Jr said it was (the owners son) and he told us he was going to ask someone to come back and fix it. Someone came and fixed some of the painting, but the walls when going upstairs are still splotchy. 5.) To live in our house with the grading not completed we needed a temporary license, which under contract, Amato homes was supposed to provide, they did when we first moved in, but when it came to the winter of 2023 and they still hadn't completed a proper grading, we needed a new license so we could continue to live in our home. When asked for the new license, Frank Jr sent the previous license, I don't know if he was being shady or unobservant. When we followed up and told him that, that license had expired and per our contract he needed to provide a new one, he did after some back and forth. 6.) The Yard. Over a year of waiting to getting proper grading, and was treated poorly when bringing up concerns to Frank Jr.

There was no reported damage to the retaining wall. The home has a final certificate of occupancy and the owner was notified of the issues along the way with the city approval, along with providing the temporary certificates as the city required. We did not receive communication that the stairwell was still an issue, and did not receive responses on several attempts to schedule the door paint.
