      I cancelled my account on 8/31 and Planet Fitness is continuing to charge me. Their most recent charge is on 9/19. Attached is the cancellation request delivered to the location.

      We have looked into ****** ****'s membership and see that he did cancel on 8/31/22 and was charged for 2 additional months due to staff not cancelling correctly in our system. The membership was officially cancelled 11/16/22. We have requested a refund for the two additional months and you will see in your account within 7-10 business days.

      Good Afternoon, Last year in March of 2021 my wife ***** ***** signed up for Planet Fitness membership. She was going up until November 2021 and stopped going due to her work schedule and traveling all over the united states. I understand we have been paying $10.75 each month since we have singed up and the annual fee of $41.93. On Sunday May 1st I went into my local planet fitness and cancelled her membership and asked for a refund of the $41.93 annual fee since it was showing as pending in my chase checking account. The worker at gym told me I need to call back when the manager was in the office. This morning I called and spoke to the manager on duty and she informed me that they will not be able to give me a refund because I didn't cancel before April 25th. On the 2 charges I have for $41.93 when we signed up and cancelled they have dates of 05/03/2021 and 05/02/22. At this time I request to be paid back the $41.93 annual fee that was charged to my account on 05/02/22. Thanks, *****

      Good afternoon,

      ***** ***** signed up on 3/30/2021 and cancelled on 5/1/2022. The membership needed to be cancelled by April 25, 2022, to avoid being charge the annual fee on May 1, 2022. Per the agreement:

      An Annual Membership Fee will be billed to your account below on or around the 1st beginning on 5/21/2021 for $39 plus applicable taxes and will continue to be billed on or around the anniversary of that date each year thereafter until you cancel in accordance with the terms of this agreement. The Annual Membership Fee is an account maintenance fee and, as such, will be billed notwithstanding a membership freeze or temporary closure or disruption of service. The PF+ membership does not include an Annual Membership Fee.

      To cancel your monthly membership and stop the billing of the Monthly Membership Fee, the club must receive written notification from you delivered to the club by the 10th of the month either in person or preferably via mail to the club address listed above. Please note it may take up to seven (7) business days for any membership or billing changes to take effect. In order to cancel your membership prior to the billing of the Annual Membership Fee, the club requires written notice from you delivered as described above no later than the 25th of the month before such billing. The Annual Membership Fee is fully earned when received and is non-refundable.

      We do not cancel or refund due to non-use of service. We have followed our end of the agreement and will not be giving any refunds at this time.
