Will never ever go back. Not sure how the hotel was itself , due to they didnt have our room available upon check in. We had booked the 2queen studio suite 3 weeks prior. Upon check in, the receptionist kept making numerous phone calls and not saying much, other than there was a problem entering something in the computer. After the calls, she then proceeded to tell us that they didnt have our room. Remind you, we were there for the state fair. We had kids showing animals and was also my birthday weekend. It was suppose to be a nice little mini get away, but they had given our room to someone else apparently. The receptionist said that there was a hospital patient that had to stay over for treatment. Ok, that would be totally understanding. However, we received no phone call prior to 7pm when we were checking in and if that was the case, then tell us that. Why did you have to make 3 phone calls to come up with some kind of excuse. Not only that, then in the mean time, a middle aged women comes to the desk and asking for silverware. She said the room has dishes and such, but I am not finding silverware. Hmm, the suite room is the only one that has dishes and the kitchen. Which is the room we had booked. Just because we didnt check in until 7 pm due to watching our kids show, they had gave our room to someone else. Then to top it off, she said that she had a room at their other hotel next door. The holiday inn suites and that the room was bigger, but just had no kitchen. Remind you, there was 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 kids. I had booked this room specifically for the extra room, couch bed, and kitchen. So already very unhappy, we go next door to check in and get to the room and it wasnt a suite, no double room, but a regular 2 queen room. No extra room, no couch, nothing. They kept saying that the manager was not in and they would have to contact me. Here it is 14 days later and and still nothing. Ive called many times and I havent received a call or any refund
