Tyler I needed floors laid in the back and the bathroom as well as walls put up to form suites . He told me $7000 in labor . Tyler didn’t have a pick-up truck to get all the materials so he put some of it in his van .He asked for half the money up front that day because he said he didn’t have “ tools “ to do the job . The walls were wobbly because he bought the wrong Nails. He put them down wrong and he did not finish the floors.he told me that he would not do any more work until I ordered more materials, but there were materials in the shop. I decided to remove some of the rooms . He still wanted to charge me the same price. I asked him for a contract, and he told me that he would send it to me, never sent it so I asked for it again and he said that his printer wasn’t working & he kept sending me a link to a contract document that was completely empty. I asked again and he said he would just give it to me in person. Tyler never sent me the contract, but when I started to complain about the job, he sent me a contract. I then went into my shop to check the work and I wasn’t happy . So I contacted him and told him the floors weren’t done right . He started the floors in the middle and made his way to the wall . So it’s not lined up and he stated “ it’s the way I choose to do my work “ . I took a ruler and measured the walls he began to build and they aren’t correct so I asked that he refunded me the amount minus what work he already did . He does not have a license for contracting, construction, or electrical work. He then told me “ I’m no longer interested in doing the job “ then he blocked me. He quit on me when he said, I’m no longer interested in finishing the job which means that he forfeit at the job. After telling me to stop messaging him a couple times he then stated to stop messaging him before he puts his wife on my “***”. He threatened me. He also won’t return my keys to me.

Tyler chow to return my key today after I made this review and I have proof of messages showing when he left the key which is dated today . Tyler did a poor job regardless of anything else going on . The floors look like crap and measurements are not done correctly . I took pictures of work done as well as videos and it doesn’t match the sketch we agreed upon . I will be taking him to court .
