I had a front fender, cab corner, both rear fenders and both lower rear fenders replaced and painted. The body panels themselves came out good but whoever worked on my truck and painted it were very careless. My door was chipped in the process of putting the front panel on that I had to ask to have them fix it but touch up paint was the only thing they did to it. My step bars were not removed when the cab corner was welded in and had weld splatter and grinder marks all over it. You can still see where a sander was used on the body before it was painted and the paint has many pin holes, light spots, and runs in it after 4 time of me not accepting the work that was done. There were a lot of spots were it looks like they painted over dirt. The amount of overspray was mind blowing especially listening to the amount of times the owner told me they tape off everything. My bumper, both tail lights and the entire underside of the back of the truck were all oversprayed but the excuse was the truck has been painted before all that paint was already there. Even though I just replaced the exhaust and shocks less then a year ago so my stainless steel exhaust being painted white still upsets me a lot. The fender wells where never covered either and when I asked to have the white paint removed from them I was told he would have them redone with the black undercoating. The undercoating was also put on without taping anything off so black paint was oversprayed around all of the fenders and onto the side of the truck and the fenders wells were just zebra striped and still have more white on them then black. I finally had enough of hoping my truck was going to be finish and made right and I asked for it to no longer be touched. The main comments I would get for the owner is I didn’t know you wanted a custom job or I didn’t know it was a show truck. I have now taken it to another shop and had a quote just to fix what this shop did nothing more which came out to $1900.
